Humans were originally creatures of two souls.
They were created with two heads, four arms, and four legs.
The gods, fearing their power, split them, condemning the fallen to search in eternity for the other half of their soul.
These souls scattered the earth, broken creations littering the earth and cast down from the sky in a fiery comet. They hit the earth and shattered into millions of shards, all connected, yet so separated.
They are living in the hell of loss, ripped apart from their sister souls.
A sad existence, but now maybe you understand the anger that fills the world.
And the cruelty.
These forgotten creations are broken without even knowing it, condemned to search for the rest of their lives unconsciously for something they never knew existed.
