Okuyasu Nijimura pt. 1

The last class of the day was about to be over and you were excited to go home.

You were half asleep and weren't even copying notes anymore, just staring at the whiteboard drowsily when finally, your teacher's boring, monotone voice was interrupted by the bell ringing.

Everyone got up and put their things away, filing out of the classroom. You grabbed your bag and left, being the last one out.

The halls were pretty crowded, but you waited a few seconds and it cleared quickly with few students left.

You sped off to the front doors, opening them and breathing in that crisp, fresh air.

"Ah finally, I can't wait to sleep!"

You thought happily as you made your way through the schoolyard, but was stopped momentarily by a hand on your shoulder.

You turned around to see your classmate and crush, Okuyasu Nijimura, his eyes darting around your figure until they made contact with yours again.

He was silent for a few moments until he finally spoke.

"Uh hey y/n, sorry to bother you but I noticed you dropped something on the way out of the building."

He stated as he held his hand out, an object sitting there.

You reached out and took it, noticing it was one of your many bag decorations. More specifically it was one of your pins on it that must've popped off your bag.

You got slightly embarrassed but kept calm, looking at Okuyasu with a smile.

"Thank you, Oku-kun. I never would've realized this sucker was gone until I got home!"

Okuyasu scratched the nape of his neck with a small chuckle, telling you it was no problem.

"Oh, and y/n? Do you maybe want to go out with me later to uh.. I don't know, the beach or something?"

"Like a date?"

You asked with a smile, giving him a cheeky look.

He blushed and fumbled with his words, finally saying "U-Um if that's w-what you want it t-to be!"

You giggled and shook your head, pecking his cheek.

I'd love to. Does tomorrow at noon sound good?"

"U-Um.. yeah.."

"Great, I'll see you then!"

You gave him another kiss on his cheek and waved, walking off with a smile. Okuyasu stood there in a sort of trance, his fingers tracing over where you'd previously kissed him.

Josuke then ran up to him from his hiding spot and pat his back.

"You did it bro, you got a date!"

"Yeah.."

The pair walked off and found Koichi, of course with Yukako, waiting for them. After some small talk they all headed off, everyone congratulating Okuyasu before going home.
