"Kill Meliodas..." the demon kings voice boomed out your next mission and you felt a pang go through your very soul. You then peek up through your eyelashes to see it wasn't the demon king but Estarossa? You stand, 'this is wrong...' you think staring into the dark eyes of Estarossa as he steps towards you. "What's the matter my queen? Can't take care of your simple mission?" He asks and you shake your head.

"N-No! I won't hurt Meliodas!" You yell and reach for your sword only to grasp nothing but air. You gasp and look behind you to see nothing then you look down to see your dagger holsters empty. "Looking for these?" Estarossa asks twirling your sword before pointing it at your throat. You freeze as he slowly applies pressure just barley piercing your skin making blood flow down your neck and off the sword. "How about I make it easier for you my queen, instead of Meliodas I ask you to kill Zeldris?" He says as his grin grows. "I'd rather die." You spat as step towards him slightly making more blood drip down the harsh metal as you glare at him with icy eyes.

He lets out a laugh, "Oh come now my beautiful! Look I even have him right here for you!" He says stepping to the side to reveal Zeldris on his knees in chains. You gasp and rush past Estarossa, this causes the sword slices your neck a little more but you didn't care. As you approached Zeldris you notice how beaten he is, and the wounds that litter his body. He keeps his eyes trained on the ground until you call out his name. "...Zeldris?" You ask almost unsure if it was him. His eyes snap up to see you and his eyes have pure panic flash through them before it's replaced with hatred.

"Zel? It's me I'll get us out of here!" You tell him but he proceeds to glare at you while Estarossa laughs at you making you grit your teeth. You turn around, "I knew you'd betray the demon race." Estarossa says before you can tell him to fuck off. Suddenly there's a dagger to your throat making you freeze again.

This time you glance behind you to see who's wielding it. Shock makes your blood run cold when you see the dark eyes you'd fallen for still so full of hate as he stares into yours. Zeldris smiles wickedly as he stands behind you holding you at his mercy, "W-What?" You ask confused on how exactly he got out of the chains and why he was threatening you now.

He rolls his eyes and looks to Estarossa as if asking permission, "Go ahead brother she's nothing to us now." Estarossa says and your eyes widen as you look back to Zeldris one last time before he slits your throat and shoves you to the ground. Hot sticky blood pours from your throat and you grasp it with your hand looking up at your lover with tear blurred eyes. He smiles down at you, "Pathetic." He sneers at you.

You gasp sitting up with a start in a cold sweat. You grab your throat that still prickles from your nightmares previous pain. Your breathing is still quick as your eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room. Someone shifts beside you and you freeze, you slowly turn to see Zeldris sleeping soundly still. You steady your breathing before carefully slipping from your bed. Standing from the bed was a relief, you don't know why but the cold floor against your feet woke you up a bit more making the lingering pain of the nightmare fade from your neck.

You sigh and look out the window to see the early sun starting to peek over the horizon. You look down then back up to a still sleeping Zeldris and decide to let him sleep. So you quickly and silently dress in your skin tight black pants and shirt that you wore under your armor. You then write a note for him saying you were gonna go get your armor from the armory then go to see Merlin.

With that you snuck out of the room, you were now glad of the training you'd received from the demon king. It taught you to be practically undetectable to highly sensitive hearing, it comes in handy considering Zeldris never really lets his guard down. Walking down the hallways you start to welcome the old feeling of home. Once you come to the armory you open the doors and slip in happy to of made it there without seeing anybody just yet.
