Chapter thirdteen : Always by your side

/ Since Elyon's discussion with Wingdings, she has only been caring for Papyrus. Much more than before. Even though he did not remember his mother at all, and because of that it does not affect him, she wanted to be sure he knew that his girlfriend would give him the love he missed. So, she made sure to hug him every day and kiss him as often as he did. She even gave him meals in the evening and gave him massages before he go to sleep.
Papyrus had obviously noticed this change of behavior so sudden. It was not unpleasant, on the contrary. He loved above all to have all the attention of his beloved on him. However, he understood that this behavior was related to the discussion between Wingdings and her. And even if this love given by Elyon was immensely pleasant, the fact of not knowing the reason angered him. The problem was that there was no way to know the subject of this discussion. He could not blame his girlfriend, far from it. But why ? why did Wingdings give her this "subject" that seems so important ? But hey, it was useless to ask this kind of question.
This afternoon, Papyrus, Sans and Elyon had finished their plan to conquer the eastern part of Fell city. They were going to put it up the next day. In the meantime, they were going to rest. It is true that they had worked a lot. Sans had offered to have a drink at Grillby's. But Papyrus refused, wanting to spend the evening with his beloved. Elyon refused the same, more gently. She felt that Papyrus just wanted to rest with her.
So they went back to Elyon's apartment. Diamond greeted them with several meows. Elyon smiled and took the kitten in her arms\

Elyon : Hello my little diamond. Daddy and Mommy are home.

Papyrus : The hell ~ ? "Daddy and Mommy" ~ ? what are you saying my beloved ~ ?

Elyon : What ? He's like our child no ? He sleeps with us, eats with us and we take care of him.

Papyrus : But it's an animal my beloved ~ Not a child. I don't understand ~

Elyon : Yes it's an animal but I love him as my son. He's so cute.

/Papyrus sighs. She was weird sometimes. But he couldn't blame her, that's her after all \

Papyrus : If you wanted children you could have just asked me ~ at least they wouldn't have fur.

Elyon : H Huh ?

/ What did he just say ? She wasn't dreaming ... right ? Maybe she did not understand well. Papyrus saw the confusion on her pretty face \

Papyrus : What's wrong my beloved ~ ?

Elyon : Papyrus ... do you .. do you want to have children ?

Papyrus : Well if you want to ~ it's you who will carry them after all.

Elyon : But Papyrus, it's not only me. It's you and me. A kid need a mother and a father. It's not a simple gift like a dress or a ring. Do you see yourself becoming a father ?

/ Papyrus was quite surprised by his question. He would do anything to please his girlfriend. So to have children with her if she wanted to be a mother did not bother him. But he had never considered his personal opinion because as long as Elyon was happy, he would be too. So this question was weird for him.
Since childhood, he has never been asked for his opinion. He obeyed and it is turn. Even if he grew up, he managed to take his independence and not to be humiliated by his brother as was the case in the past\

Papyrus : Well I didn't think about it actually ~ all I want is to make you happy.

Elyon : My love I will be the happiest women in the world if we become a family. But I want you to be happy too as a father. I want you to feel the same love for your children as for me.  I want to spend time with you and our children like a family. It's what make a family beautiful.
