With one shaky breath, she makes one tiny step forward, until another servant stops her. It was a buff male, same age. His gaze from his brown eyes was cold, until he smiled a small warm smile. He bent down slightly, and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry. They won't attack you. Just follow me." Standing back straight, he smiles again, and Ashlynn returns it in the smallest way. Turning, he leads the way, which was only 5 feet forward. Turning around, he silently instructs Ashlynn to stand on the small circle on the floor. Looking at her feet, she cautiously stands on it, and soon, begins to move. It moves just about a feet off the ground, as it was some type of pedistal. The servant moved back next to her, facing the Royals with his hands joined together in the back, feet apart, and posture was straight. Ashylnn had no idea what to do as she looked the man.
She returned her gaze to the Royals, seeing they had quieted down, and are now closely observing her from head to toe. Everybody knows that the Royals are quite scary, but really, they only come out scary to look powerful. That doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt that they are feared, and can barley have a decent converation in public.
After a few more minutes of observation of the mere human, the four Lords turn towards the King. Without looking at his fellow rulers, he simply nods his head before two more servants come out, with a few things, and stand on both sides of Ashlynn. Ashlynn, almost trembling with fear what comes next, takes a deep breath. The Royals smile a bit as they can hear her heart beat so fast, like a humming birds wings, and so loud like a raging storm. They can only imagine how much of her blood is pumping through her tiny heart of hers.
The two new arriving servants bowed to the King, before looking at the brand new servant, taking both wrists from her. She was afraid. Afraid if the vampires would instantly bite her, killing her silently yet in the loudest way. So easily, yet hard for pain. She felt pinches at her wrists, before looking down at was really happening. All they did was insert two needles, followed by plastic tubes, connected to plastic bags. She watched her blood travel through the needle, into the tubes, and poured into the small bags. She finally calmed down, and her heart went back to a normal pace as she looked around the room. A questioning look was upon all the Lords, but not becasue of how calm she became, but because both bags were quickly filling up, and yet, she has not shown any sign of weakness. By the time both bags were half full, everybody would have at least fainted, or grown very weak. But dear Ashlynn, stood, perfect posture, heart beating strong, and mind clear other than taking in the room.
Feeling the same pinch fading, she sees the servants take the needle out, giving her the same look as everybody was in the room. She looks back at the King, and she sees him nodding to someone behind her. She slowly turns her head to see two gaurds behind her bow before the Royals and heading out, seeing as their job to catch the falling humans was not needed.
"Bring out Cook." The King said with a sigh, ripping his gaze away from the farm girl looking at the wood of the table. Soon, coming out of a door across the one she entered from, a man, dressed in black dress pants and a white button up shirts comes, and collects the bags of the crimson red blood from the other servants. With a simple bow, the man and the two servants leave, leaving four gaurds, two for each door in the room, the Royals, Ashlynn, and the man next her. Silence filled the room.
A chill sent down her spine as she felt a pair of cold eyes piercing her. A glance back at the Royals, she sees a Lord, icy blue eyes, yet they held a warm feeling to it. She's heard of this Lord. Lord Lucas Robert Hemmings. He is the leader of all armies in the nation. If there was no King in command right now, it would obviously be Lord Lucas. In fact, he was stronger than the King. But there was a bold reason why the king was King.
The chef came back out, but with a wine bottle. Other servants came as well with wine glasses, and placed them in front of the Royals. The chef popped the cork off the bottle without a wine bottle opener, as he just used his fangs. Bizarre thing that was. That's when the label of the bottle caught Ashlynn's eye. At first, she couldn't make out what it said, but in a flash, her eyes seemed to have zoomed in, super closely, and sharply, that she could make out her name. To this point, she was more confused.
