Ch.5 The kiss and Gunshot wound

It's been a week since the incident with my father happened and I gain the captain trust for now.  We arrive to a land where Hongjoong told Mingi, San, A guy name Wooyoung and Seonghwa to get what we needed while Hongjoong himself took me around town.  He took me to a few shops for clothes, accessories, a few weapons while he got a few things for himself.  We haven't spoke a word to each other but then Hongjoong spoke first.  "So you knew the captain of the Royal army didn't you" He ask which cause me to stop as I know where this was going.

"*Sighs* Yes I do, He was one of the people I despised the most" I said honestly hoping he would believe me.  Once again the long silence started up but then it was cut short once he spoke up again.  "It's seems we have something slightly in common and to think the daughter of the Royal army would side with pirates than with her own blood relatives" He surprised me knowing the he knows the one of the daughters of the royal army captain.  "I rather choose to side with you and your crew men then with my own father, beside I am consider a traitor in my family so it's too late for me to go back" I said starting to walk again before getting grab by the arm and drag to an by Hongjoong.  I had no idea to where he was taking me, the next moment he pushes me against a corner of a shop and press his body against mine.

"W-what...!" Hongjoong press his lips against mine which cause my face to go red as I closed my eyes.  "Still no sign of the Traitor Y/n or that Hongjoong captain" I heard as Hongjoong place a hand on my cheek while pulling back from me but place his forehead against mine.  "Keep quiet" He said and I nodded my head as my cheek was still red from his kiss.  "Keep searching men" One of the Army guy said as they walked away from our direction and once they were gone, Hongjoong move away from me a little bit to look around.  "We got to go, take my hand and don't let go til I say so got it" He said looking at me as I nodded my head an took his hand in mine.

We started to run back to the ship til we heard someone yelling out they found us.  "Tsk just great, keep up Y/n" Hongjoong said holding my hand a bit tighter as we continued to run while being chased.  *Bang* They started to shoot at us as we kept running but then Hongjoong let out a hiss.  I didn't like that sound and so I grabbed onto the one of the store shelf an pull it down.  "Hey!" The shop owner yelled but I didn't care as long as it blocks the guards path for some time as we escape.

When we got to the ship, I took Hongjoong down to the sick bay so I can treat him to my best ability.  "Sit down and remove your coat so I can see what has been injured" I said having him sit down as he removes one side but when he tries to remove the right side that when he let out a groan of pain.  "Shit this sting" He said as I help him remove his coat and set it to the side, seeing him wear a long sleeve short I had him remove it as well.  The cut was on his upper right arm was from the guards that shot at us as I grab a bucket of water an a rag.  "I'm sorry.." I said carefully clear his wound while apologizing to him.

"Don't apologized, it's not your fault I got hurt" He said clenching his hand trying to prevent himself from yelling in pain.  "But if you haven't brought me in town, you wouldn't have gotten hurt" I finish cleaning his wound as I started to applies the medicine and then wrap the bandage around the wound.  Once I was done Hongjoong puts his shirt back on then places his hand on my head.  "Again it wasn't your fault Y/n those guards are just bastards" He puts his coat back on an got up as he pull me up with his good arm.  When I was about to speak again, Hongjoong left as San came in causing me to sigh in defeat.

"What's the matter Y/n?" San ask putting the medicines and other items he got away in his storage.  "I'm fine but the Captain got hurt an so I treated his wound" I sat down on the bed an place my head in my hands forgetting that they had blood on them.  "You treated the captain wound and he let you mean you gain his trust fully" He said pulls a chair out and sat in front of me as he took my hands in his.  I looked at him as he clean my hands and my face that had blood on them.  Once he was done, I still felt bad for the incident that happen.

"Hey no need to feel down, you did great and I'm sure the captain appreciated it" San gave me a soft smile an it cheered me up a bit.  "You really think so?" I had to ask and he nodded his head as he helped me up.  When it was time to leave, I stood next to the railing watching before I caught a glimpses of someone.  My eyes widen in shock as I saw someone I didn't think I see for a while now as he looked at me with sadness.
