Chapter 13 Insults and tears

(A week later)

"How much longer do I have to stay like this?" I said getting tried of laying on my stomach as San finish checking on my slightly healed wounds on my back.  "You should be good for now, you been healing just fine so you'll be about to get up now" He said handing me one of his button shirt as I sat up and put it on.  He helped me button it since my shoulders and back were still a little sore from the whip.  As I got up and stretch a little before I gave San a hug since he had to stay with me the whole time.  "I'm sorry that you had to treat me the whole time while you had other things to work on" I said as San shook his head and cupped my cheek, having me look at him.

"No need to apologize dear, I rather see the woman I love healed than work on something not necessary" He said pulling me into a gentle and soft kiss as I kissed him back before pulling away from it.  We let out a smile before I kissed his cheek and left the sick bay to go see everyone else.  I was greeted by Yeosang as he came by and chatted with me for a little before he went back to work.  Next was Wooyoung as he was helping the guys out with fish net only for him to get slap by a fish.  Yunho was cleaning the canons when I came up to him as he gave me one of his cute smiles.  I smiled back as I head over to Seonghwa area as I watch him prepare a roast and stew that I could smell.  Jongho was walking around carrying two barrels, one on each shoulder as while the crewman were keeping the other barrels in place. 

The last two Mingi and Hongjoong were at the wheel having a conversation before Mingi saw me heading towards them.  "Seems like someone is finally up and walking" Mingi said as I roll my eyes at his comment before I stood next to them.  "But should you really but up and walking, your back isn't fully healed and I don't want see you hurt any more then you already have" I nodded my head as I place one hand on their cheeks.  "I'm fine, even if I'm still a little sore I can move and do things" I said as Hongjoong place his hand over mine while Mingi did the same.  "Y/n for what you have gone, we don't want you to do anything risky" Hongjoong said as he tighten his grip on my hand he was holding.

"*Sighs* I understand but I don't want to be someone that is useless to others " I said looking down as I started to feel helpless before I was lifted into the air.  "Your not useless princess, we all want you and your little sister to have a calm an adventurous life with us" Mingi said as he sat me on the railing.  "Then why do I feel like I'm slowing everyone down...Because you are Whore!" I heard as Hongjoong, Mingi and everyone else turn to the person who said that.  Three of the crewmen where standing as the one with a red scarf spoke.  "If it weren't for you and your stupid sister, we would be hunting down treasures and fighting other pirates then dealing with the two of you" The guy said as I saw Sam eyes tearing up as Wooyoung and Yeosang tried comfort her but she ran away into the cargo.

My heart broke and I was in rage as the guy just insulted not only me but my little sister as well.  Before I could do anything, Yunho punched the crewman in the face as he fell.  "You dare insult our love and her little sister just because we change a bit for them" He said bitterly as he grab the guy by his shirt.  "Why should we care about them, one is useless while the other is just hopeless" Another crewman said as my expression started to turn dark.  What I didn't expect was Hongjoong to pull out his gun and shot the crewman.  "Anyone else want to talk shit about the girls" He yell as all the crewmen shook their head no as Yunho toss the guy he was holding over board.  I felt numb as I got off the railing and walked away from the boys.

Mingi

They dare insult our princess and Samantha in front of us.  I was glad to get rid of the two guys while there was one left.  Before any of us could do anything, Y/n walked away from Hongjoong and I while she avoided everyone else and head down to the cargo.  "Y/n" I said her name but she didn't even flinch at it as I glared at the men.  "What should we with the traitors on the ship since I know a there is still three more" I ask Hongjoong as he put his musket away and clinch his fist like he was ready to punch someone.

"Throw them into the cell and let them rot"

Y/n

"Sam, you in here" I said softly knock on the crate that was empty.  "Go away" She cried as tears were starting to built up in my eyes.  "Samy please..dont push me away" I said crying inside as tears ran down my face.  It was quiet except Sam sobs and my running tears since she wouldn't come out.  "Sissy am I useless..." Sam ask and I was shock at the question.  "No Sam your not useless sweetie, you have been more help to all of us and we're glad to have you here" I said since she was there, helping, laughing, trapping and listen when she is told.

"If anyone is useless then it would be me Sam not you" I lean against the wall next to the crate as tried my best to hold in my emotions.  After a moment I heard a creak sound as I look and saw Sam lifting the lid of the crate up.  "That's not true, sissy isn't useless at all" She said as she climb out of the crate and sits on my lap while tried to dry my tears away.  "Sissy is more braver then most guys I ever seen" She continued saying which led me to smile at her confidant in me.  When she was done talking about how brave and confident I am, she fell asleep on my lap as I hold her close to me.
