the sound of the key unlocking the door to your apartment, made you wonder if your boyfriend hadn't come back home from his practice yet.
"hwa?" you called out, getting eerie silence and darkness in return, you immediately get yourself inside the apartment and lock the doors. feeling scared that anytime a ghost could pop up and scare the living shit out of you, you turn on the lights at the kitchen, making your apsrtmne feel warm with its light orange warmish color.
"argh" you groan at the sudden pain, from your shoudlers as you set down your bag on the island, after setting your keys to the key bowl and you and seonghwa had diy-ed when you guys moved in together.
you turn on the AC, and take off your heels slipping on the warm fuzzy slippers, in the color of light pink while seonghwa's light blue one remained there. sighing in tiredness, you walk over to the couch and rest yourself around the comfy pillows, which held memories of the nights when you and soenghwa would watch movies, in each other's embrace or on warm lazy afternoon's you and seonghwa would just cuddle while listening to soft music in the background, talking.
soon without noticing, your eyes lids begin to droop from tiredness. your body with less energy gave into the comfyness of the pillows and the soft couch. the faint light, from the kitchen making your mind fell to ease, as the big coat you didn't take off covers you from the cold air in the room. your mind eventually feel into unconsciousness, falling into deep sleep.
"alright, (y/n)'s waiting for me guys. I'll see you soon" seonghwa bids his goodbyes to his team members as he gets into his car, heading back home eager to be falling into deep sleep in the arms of his love.
parking his car in the parking lot, he noticed your car is right beside his, knowing you're already home. on his way home, seonghwa went though his phone to check if you had called him, considering normally you would call seonghwa to ask him if he's coming back or staying over at the dorm.
he soon was at the doorstep of the shared apartment of you both, he entered and looked around to see your things on the kitchen island but you missing.
"princess?" he called out in a soft tone, but instead of hearing a response back, he hears soft snores coming from the living room. seonghwa sets down his things and walks further to the snores to find out cuddled up among the small pillows on the couch.
a small smile grew on your boyfriend's lips as he looked at you peacefully sleeping, scared he'll wake you up if he accidently made noises.
seonghwa took off his coat hanging it on the rack, before walking over to you to wake you up, so you both can get ready for bed.
"(y/n)" he called out softly, hearing a soft 'hm' from you, but not waking up. "baby, let's get you ready for bed" he said a little louder yet in a soft tone, making you stirr around before blinking your eyes open to your beautifully handsome boyfriend.
"hi there, did you wait for me princess?" he asks and you regain conscious, nodding making him smile at your cuteness.
"here," he says and carries you in bridal style, making you chuckles lightly, snuggling your head into his neck. seonghwa carries you into the room and carefully sets you down on the bed.
"let's get you showered and we'll go to bed, hm? is that okay?" he asks you, as you faintly answer him a small yes. he pays your head before he leaves the room for you strip out of your clothes and get into the shower.
"hwa it's okay" you say making him come back. the both of you get into the shower. you and seonghwa have obviously seen each other naked before, on too many sexual occasions, but sometimes the both of you in shower, just feeling the water go down your body in each other's embrace is the best feeling ever. sometimes you guys get dorky, and play with bubbles, helping each other wash your bodies and hair. and the other just the both of you taking in the warm shower, holding each other against each other enjoying the warm fuzzy feeling.
it was one of this time, you got into shower, before seonghwa gets in. he helps you clean yourself and you give him massage on his scalp and on the muscles, making him relax over the stress he had gotten today.
after the shower, you got into seonghwa's hoodie as that's what you normally wear because it always had his scent on it, and it was big so it went down until your mid thighs. seonghwa just had on his joggers and a white shirt, which you still amazingly found your boyfriend attractive even being that simple.
you got into the sheets before seonghwa stops in his mid track making you stop on the spot too.
"(y/n) wait!" he says before he walks out of the bedroom door making you wait for a moment. you call out seonghwa's name, getting a faint "wait!" in the distance. he walks in, with a glass of water and something in his palm, making you arch an eyebrow looking at him.
"take this, you're gonna get a fever" he says and without asking anything, you take the pill from his hands and swallow in, soon drinking the water.
"your body temperature felt hot just now when I carried you" he continues, making you just smile at him for noticing when you, yourself didn't feel it. maybe because you were too tired.
"(y/n), you should really focus on taking care of yourself too. stop burrying yourself into your work so much- yes I know, your job is important but you need to focus on your health too baby" he complains as he sets down the glass and gets into the sheets with you. he turns off the light, the moonlight shinning through the curtains.
"i can't bear to focus on anything or care about anything else if anything happens to you. you need to take daily care, not just when im not around or when you're sick. you need to limit the stress and take a break. five minutes of break wouldn't hurt anything baby, your health matters ,i-" before he could continue you press your lips to his making him shut up.
"thank you" you say and seonghwa gives you a small smile.
"I'm not done" he says now in a tired tone, making your heart soft.
"I know" you pause for a moment taking in his features making you beyond grateful for someone like him.
"but thank you", "I don't want to say much because words can express how much I'm grateful for you hwa"
"thank you for taking care of me, for caring for me. thank you for loving me" you say as you carress his cheek making him smile brighter.
his face glows from the moonlight, making you fall love with him even more than ever. "I love you," he says, pressing a small kiss on your forehead as he wraps his arms around your waist.
"I love you more" you whisper back, falling into sleep as you snuggle into his chest, feeling the soft and comfyness take you into deep sleep. just like this you couldn't have wished for a better person to spend nights like this.
never have you ever been this grateful to be in the arms of someone you love, just the sound of soft breathings and the embracement made you happy, more than anything.
