Kai's p.o.v
Running for my life, Cole and Jay giving chase. Looking back, their purple eyes will haunt me for life. We thought we could, we thought we'd win. Lloyd failed to defeat the Overlord. We failed Ninjago and now I'm fighting to stay free and alive.
Jay throws four kuni, every one of them embed in my right leg. Stumbling, knocking into a trash can, I keep running. With every stride, the blades dig deeper, ripping muscle, blood staining the black of my gi. My red gi makes me stand out like a sore thumb, so I need to lose it if I have any hope of leaving Ninjago. A roar sounds, the ultra dragon soars overhead. A puddle of water has me shooting fire into it, creating a smoke screen.
Taking off my gi, in nothing but my fishnet clothes, I clime on ultra, he gets me out of here. "Get me somewhere safe, old friend." I rasp, collapsing on ultra back. Darkness swims, I welcome the black.

Groaning, I slowly open my eyes. A scalely tail is wrapped around me. Looking, rocky nuzzles my head. Sitting up, I notice I'm in a pond in an underground cavern. The water ain't normal, it's vengestone. I snap my fingers, surprised when fire licks the end. Looking at my leg, the four kuni are no more than left over scars. Standing, I notice the fishnet clothes are covered in scales. "How long has it been, Flame." I ask. 'Two weeks, you had a bad infection. Almost lost your leg, we had to do a transfer of blood.' Flame says. I look back at her, she coos at me. Getting out, I stretch my tence muscles. Looking around, a forge, a little kitchen and living area surrounds the pond, which in fact is connected to a river. "Where are we exactly." I ask. 'This belonged to the first fire master. He lived here, becoming one with nature and vengestone. He pasted it down to the next and so on until your father. It's only right, that you take your birth right.' Flame says. I grin, going to the forge. Lighting the long dead coals, they roar with life. Taking a ore of vengestone, I set out making vengestone armour.
