Goodbye Shanks

(Y/n) was helping Makino clean the bar as Luffy was drinking some juice. 

"(Y/n). Why don't you join Luffy and have some juice?" Makino suggested. 

"Are you sure, Makino." (Y/n) asked. "Makino smiled. "I'm sure. Besides, I'm almost done here." 

(Y/n) smiles back, she grabs a seat next to Luffy and drinks some juice with him.

"I still can't believe you ate a Devil Fruit." (Y/n) sips her juice. "How was I suppose to know that it was a Devil Fruit?" Luffy argued. "A) It didn't look like a normal fruit, B) It was inside a box and C) Who eats a fruit that was locked inside a box?!" (Y/n) named the reason. 

"I thought that it would taste good, but it tasted bad." Luffy said which caused (Y/n) to face palm herself. 

As the two of them continued to talk, the doors of the bar opened to reveal the mountain bandits from before. 

"It's them." (Y/n) whispered. 

"Why are those bastards here?" Luffy growled. 

Like before, they demanded from sake, so without any trouble, Makino gave them their drinks. As the mountain bandits began to have their drink, Luffy and (Y/n) could hear them making rude and disrespectful comments about Shanks and his crew.

"Pirates are a bunch a losers!" 

"Did you see the looks their faces! How priceless!" 

"How pathetic!" 

"Pirates are just talk and no action. They're nothing, but cowards of the seas." 

"Shut up!!!" Luffy screamed at them. "Stop talking about Shanks and his crew like that!!!" 

"My dad and his crew aren't cowards! They are the strongest pirates I know!" (Y/n) joined in to defend Shanks's honor. 

"Luffy, (Y/n), please!" Making held them back. 

"You apologize for saying horrible things about my family!" (Y/n) demands. "You listen to her and apologize right now!" Luffy adds. "Stop right now, you stupid bandits!" They screamed together. 

Higuma stood up from his seat, everyone fell silent. He stared at the two children that dared talk back to him. "Get those brats." He ordered. 

The mountain bandits began to chuckle evilly as they made their way towards Luffy and (Y/N). (Y/n) knew what was going to happen, she quickly took out her dagger to defend Luffy and herself, but one of the bandits knocked it out of her hand. They grabbed Luffy and (Y/n) and walked out of the bar as the two of them tried to fight back. 

"No! Stop, please!" Makino pleads, but they ignored her. "Luffy! (Y/n)!" Makino wasted no time running out of her bar and went for the mayor for help. 

Outside, the mountain bandits watched as their leader started to kick Luffy and (Y/n) around. 

"What is this? We were having a nice time drinking, until you two showed up." Higuma said. 

"We told apologize. No one talks about my dad and his crew." (Y/n) told him, which result another kick to leg. She yelps his pain. "Hey! Leave her alone, you stupid bandits!" Luffy yells as Higuma. Higuma turns his attention towards Luffy and puts his foot on Luffy's face. 

"I don't think I said something to the both of you offensively." Higuma told them. "You're wrong! Now apologized!" Luffy demands. 

Before Higume could do pull out his sword onto Luffy and (Y/n), the mayor and Makino came in just in time to stop them.
