3. Let's Talk

Edogawa and Edgar where staring at eachother for a moment or two. It was silent between them and the cround of poeple around them started to worry that they would start fighting eachother or something like that. The audience of this staring scene sighn in releaf when the smaller male started to smile happily while walking closer to older and taller male.
"Edgar! Where were you been?!  One day you just disappeared! I though your life was ended or something. " Edogawa hug his friend for a long moment. Edgar with small hesitation hug the smaller male back.
"As you see, i am perfectly fine... I was just in America for some time.." Edgar smiled a little seeing Surprised look in Edogawa's eyes.
"That's cool! I never been outside Japan! How was it? Do they have better sweets than we have? Did you finally lose your virginity? I need to know everythiing!! " Edogawa pulled away from the hug, he was now jumping in place from excitement. He even forgat about the Murdercase that he was solving. His all attention was now on Edgar and his purple deep eyes .
"I will tell you later Edogawa.. We are here for the murder case." Edgar started to play with his sweater nervously with both hands. The  smaller male jumped a little remembering why he was here.
"Ah yes! The case! Let's work on it together!" Edogawa smiled and grab Edgar by his hand, he started to pull him to the crayon drawing of dead person on the ground. Edogawa started to walk round the place where the body was suposted to be .
An hour passed by relly quickly. They found out what happend to, now,  a dead person.
"So it wasn't murder, you see on the picture of corpses that there is just one bullet that hit them and it didn't hit in a place that would kill a person imidietlly... It was accident. Bullet was meant for someone else, but they shoot wrongly.. " Edogawa finaly got it, he was still confused why he couldn't solve the case himself. While Edogawa was drowning in his thoughts, Edgar went to the policeman to tell it to them what probably happend. They took notes and thanked them both for help . Dazai finally came close to the place. He patted Edogawa on the head with a dorky smile.
"Well detective! That took you some long time for some reason. " Dazai chuckled looking down at the older male.
"Hn.. Yea.." Edogawa shruged. "Maybe some ability user dipped his fingers in it.. But thankfully the case is solved.." Edogawa looked back at Edgar and walked up to him.
"So! We have time now to catch up all those years!" Edogawa smiled brightly. Edgar smiled back a little.
"Yes, you are right. We could go one day to some cafe to talk. Now i need to go back to my own place. ... I will stay in contact with you, Edogwa.. My phone number is still the same" Edgar got surprised hearing Edogawa whine, he didn't expect to see his friend react like that becouse he needed to leave.
"Do i relly  need to wait?" He opened his eyes and looked up at Edgar.
"Well.. Alright than.."
Edogawa gave the taller male a quick hug and letted him go, Poe started to walk away with his racoon friend in his arms.
The smaller male smiled and went up to his friend Dazai.
"We can go back to the acency now. " Green eyed male closed his eyes and started to walk in direction of trainstation, next to the taller brunet.

The same evening Edogawa was sitting on his coutch in his pijamas while watching some tv series. He was eating crisps while commenting every move of the main character. Finally he got bored of that and setted the Television off , he cleaned the room and went to the bedroom. He ploffed on the bed and curles up in warm and cozy sheets. After doing nothing for a moment he grab his phone and started to look for the phone number that Edgar menchoned. With a samll hesitation he sended the other male a message.
'Hey Poe'
'I am sure you are already asleep but'
'Would you like to go out tomorrow?'
Edogawa was watching his phone screen waiting for the other male to see it. He didn't even notice how happy he got reading the message from Poe.
'Sounds lovely'
After that Edogawa lied down his phone on the night table. Slowly he closed his eyes drifting off into sleep...
