5. The Change Nobady Suspected

Next day, the same as before. Sunny, poeple going to work, children running trou streets to their schools, grannys in the park.
Nice and everything, but in the same time everything changed.
Yosano as always came pick up Edogawa in the morning to make sure he goed to work, but not even having the chance to Knock on the door they opened with smaller male in them being ready for work. With a bright smile he said good morning to her and walked right next to her like nothing happend, leaving her in comolete shock. After a moment she walked up to him. With a concerned look on her face she sighn and started conversation.
"Edogawa, are you feeling alright? You getting up earlier and stuff.. And i don't need to take care of you..." Woman was waiting for his respond.
"Did something happen?"
Edogawa just laughed a little. With a smile on his face he looked up at her and answered her question.
"Nothing Happend Yosano~ Just having energy to work!" Yosano was now even more concerned.
"There sure happend something if YOU have energy to work."

After some walking and laughter they arrived to the Agency. Dark-haired male came in as happy and cheerful he could.
"Good morning everyone!" he than went to his desk, sitting down om the chair and spining around chuckling like a child for no reason.
Kunikida looked at Woman that walked inside just after the male nearly broke the door.
"What happend to him? He always was happy and stuff but never so early in the morning..." the blonde male watched Yosano shaking her head.
"I have no clue, he never relly waked up so early, and even if he did i needed to make him get ready and everything. But today i didn't even have the chance to walk inside his house! He just swing his door open already clothed up and ready to go! I think he is getting sick." Woman than went to her office leaving the main area.
Not even fifteen minutes went by and Edogawa was by Kunikida' s desk Smiling.
" Do you have anything for me? Some crimes lately? " The male was waiting for some work from The blonde male so he could go and take care of it. The taller male got surprised that Edogawa even asked for Work. When he shook his surprise away and he gave the other male some documents.
"There was a crime at the train station not too long ago. Go check it out if you want. There won't be too much to do tho, we suspect it was just a robbery." with that Edogawa grabbed Atsushi to be his Metro guide and than they both left.
Dazai peeked out off his coutch and looked around.
" Who left that early?" He looked at Kunikida little confused.
" Ranpo and Atsushi... " the male just went on with his work.
"Ranpo?? Wow that was a good morning surprise." The brown haired male sat up on the coutch.
"Yea, and a bit strange..." they both sighn a little just to go on with their work.

A little later Edogawa and Atsushi where at the train station. Edogawa just goofing around already knowing what was happend. Police was getting little annoyed of waiting for male to get to work. After maybe ten minutes Edogawa came up to them and told them what happend.
"A young male came into the shop then power went off, he shoot the woman in her shoulder and stole money and some food, he was probably running away from someone and needed things to leave so far away and so quick possible." After some more talk Edogawa and Atsushi left.
"What time is it Atsushi?" The younger male looked on his watch.
"It's eight o'clock Ranpo."
"Well! It's early so we can do more thing today, let's get back to agency to get more cases from Kunikida." With that they went back to agency, a quick talk with Kunikida and more confused co workers and the two were off again. With more cases that Edogawa even did in one week.
Nobady could belive that he actuly worked without arguing with him for at least ten minutes.
There was a change than nobody relly suspected.

In the end of the day there where almost every case done for at least a month. Edogawa left for once at time he should leave, saying goodnight for his co workers and than going to his house by foot while watching the sky changing colours to more pink and yellow. With that he came home nad removed his cape, shoes and his hat. He made himself some hot chocolate and went to his balcony, he opened the door and plased his hands on barrier of the balcony. Still watching the sky with his hot drink he smiled a little.
"That was a good day.."
