In the morning when they had both woken up neither made a move to kill each other, like a couple of hours ago. Although, both were cranky enough that they probably could.

They spent the next couple hours gathering more firewood for later in the night, and Hope made sure not to trip again. The surge of energy that would go through every time they touched was enjoyable but she wouldn't let herself succumb to it.

Hope set the firewood on the ground and wiped her hands on her jeans, Clarke doing the same beside her. "Well I think this is enough," he says looking over at her.

She nods to him. Clarke walks past her, going to sit by the big tree. "You stink."

"Why thank you, Hope. That's such a nice thing to say. But, you stink too."

Hope looks at him sticking out her tongue, "You stink too." She says mocking him. "I may smell nasty but you both look and smell like a burnt cockroach."

Clarke turns his head over to her. "Now that's just rude," he says to her, laughing. "But fine, since you want to be like that we can go find a lake or something."

Shooting him a side glance she sighs, "I don't want to walk anymore. I have no energy right now."

"Well, then I have the perfect thing for you then." He walks over to Hope, smirking and hand out.

Hope shrugs and turns around. "No thanks."

Hope walks away, heading towards the forest in search of a lake. She hears Clarke running over to her, trying to catch up. They both walk in silence through the trees.

In a very short amount of time, they hear the rushing of water. Hope feels giddy, not waiting until she can be submerged in water. She can see the lake just behind a couple of branches, and she moves to duck down below them. Before she can, Clarke pushes the branches over her head, keeping her from getting hit. Hope sends him a small smile and he looks at her and lets go of the branch.

"Clarke, you ass," Hope says to him.

Leaves fall from her head as she tries to pull tiny sticks out of her hair. Once she gets tired of pulling stuff out, she bends over shaking her hair. Seeing lots of leaves fall out, she lifts her head back up.

Clarke is already standing in front of the lake when she walks over. He lifts his legs up, pulling off his socks and shoes. Hope does the same as Clarke stretches his arms out.

Once she is done she sees Clarke look over at her, mischievous look in his eyes. "Why do you look like th- Clarke put me down!" Hope screams.

He holds her to his chest, one arm under her knees and the other against her back. Looking down at Hope, he sends her a smirk. "I'm serious put me down!" She screams at him as he begins walking towards the water.

Her arms shoot up to his neck, trying to keep him from throwing her in the water. Once she does, heat runs through her body and a shiver goes down her spine. Hope looks up to Clarke and see his eyes close for a moment, and she looks back towards the water.

"Don't you do it."

That's the last thing either of them say before he throws her into the water. Hope's arms flail all around her. Her whole body goes underwater and water enters her nose. She shoots up fast, coughing and shivering. The water as cold as ice and her teeth start chattering.

She looks up to Clarke after blinking all the water out of her eyes. He's turned away from her and he unbuttons his shirt, standing right next to the edge. She slowly swims over to him and puts her arm out. Getting a firm grip on his ankle, she pulls.
