There are many creatures who roam this Earth freely, disguised amongst the normals of the planet: Mortals.
Cyclops, naiads, satyrs, and Gods are placed in the Greek Mythological beings.
Gods, are immortal dieties that come down to Earth to, let's say, 'mate' with mortals. After this interaction, they usually disappear, leaving the mortal with a child nine months later.
Those children are called Half-Bloods.
They grow up with the mortal parents until they're about eleven to thirteen, then either head to Camp Half-Blood or Camp Jupiter, depending wether or not they are Roman or Greek.
The Olympian Council has changed in the last few years, so it may not be according to the ancient Greek mythology. See, there's now an offical Princess of Olympus. She's the daughter of Poseidon and Khione, gifted by the gods, one of the most powerful life forms in the world. Her name, is Crystal Amaree Love.
See, this young Goddess has a secret, that only the Olympian council knows about.
She is part fairy.
