 Chapter 11

Stephanie’s POV

I watched Max scramble down the top bunk and quickly walk out of the room.  I just sat there.  What just happened?  I had the best kiss of my life and he apologizes and leaves?  I sat on my bed thinking until I heard someone come into the room.

“Hey we’re all gonna go for lunch, you in?” Matty said.

“Yeah sure I’ll be right there” I replied. I climbed down and went into the den where everyone else was sitting.  I looked at Max quickly and he just looked at the ground. 

“Alright lets goo!” Spicy yelled.  I guess he was hungry. 

I walked next to Carla and whispered to her “I have to talk to you.”

She looked at me with a confused face and I told her I would tell her later.  We all walked off the tour bus and into the parking lot of a diner.  We all walked in and piled into a booth.  I sat by the window next to Carla who was next to Beau, and Matty.  On the other side Max sat across from me and next to him was Durston, Spicy, and Dkarp. 

“Are you ready to order?”  A tall brunette waitress asked us. 

We all ordered and the waitress walked away.

“So who’s excited for the first stop!!!!” Beau yelled. 

“Meeeeeeeeeee!!!!” we all yelled back.  We got some strange looks from the people around us but no one really seemed to care. 

“Where’s the first stop?” Carla asked. 

“Webster hall” Matty replied. 

“But isn’t that here in New York?  Why are we staying on the tour bus instead of home?” I asked.

“This way we are all unpacked and used to the bus by the time we get on the road” Durston explained. 

Finally the food arrived and we started to eat. 

“Geez you guys look so small but you eat like truck drivers!!” Spicy exclaimed causing Carla and I to start laughing.  We looked down at our plates, which were covered in three chocolate chip pancakes and a side of bacon. 

“What? We like our food!” Carla laughed.

“Especially the bacon!” I added. 

“We’ll keep that in mind….” Durston said in shock. 

We all finished our food and went back into the bus. 

“So who wants to watch a movie?” Beau asked. 

“We do!!” we all yelled. 

“But…….i need to see Carla in my room.  Now.” I demanded.

“But I wanna watch the movie!” Carla sulked. 

“Oh be quiet” I replied dragging her into Max’s and my room. 

“Do you want me to tell you about what happened between Max and I or no?” I smirked at her.

“YES!” Carla yelled.

“Shhh!” I started, “ Okay so before Max and I were in our room…….”

I explained everything to Carla starting with him coming on the top bunk and kissing me and ending with Max apologizing and leaving. 

“What the hell?” Carla gasped.  “So he kissed you then left?”

“Yeah and now its really awkward between us!” I exclaimed. 

“That’s so weird….” Carla replied thinking.
