Bridgit mendler: ready or not
Bea thanked the man who drove her back to Durban as she climbed out of his car. She watched as he drove off and waved with a grin. She was in her neighbourhood and could see Carly's house not so far from where she was.
"Carly must be worried about me." She thought. She hesitated to get into Carly's house just to let her know that she was alright. She decided not to. There was a far bigger thing she had to deal with. She had to get to her house as quick as possible in order to get her necklace to work again.
She was sure wherever Mel was she had woken up already and had saw that her necklace wasn't in her possession. She took Mel's necklace out of her pocket and stared at it for a few second. What was she supposed to do with it? Burry it somewhere just for someone good to find it and turn evil like Mel?
She put it in her pocket and started racing down the street to her house. After a few minutes, she arrived in front of her house. She raced to the door. Before she could turn the door handle to enter, she heard Carly and Cloe talking to her dad in the house. They were telling her dad about her disappearance.
She turned the door lock and entered. She went to the kitchen, were her friends and her dad where. Three faces stared at her in disbelieve when they noticed her presence. She could tell they all couldn't believe she was alright. She noticed Carly and Cloe's eyes. They were red to show that they had been crying. And her dad's face looked dumped struck and his eyes were a little red.
"Bea!" Tom screamed before he ran to give her a huge hug
Her friends went to hug her too. They all couldn't believe she was alright
"What happened to you?" Carly asked out of breath. She was over whelmed.
"Long story." She said before she took out Mel's necklace and put it on the kitchen desk
"The necklace of transformation." Cloe said "But how....."
"As I said, it's a long story." She said "I'll tell you everything. I promise. But right now, I've got to get my necklace to work."
The three faces looked confused on why she needed to get her necklace to work. They were even more confused on how Mel's necklace ended up in her possession. Without saying anything more, Bea grabbed Mel's necklace, put it back in her pocket and turned around and ran upstairs to her bedroom.
She found the book about the necklace on her desk. She quickly started to page through it looking for the spell that was going to make the necklace to work again. After a few minutes, she managed to find it.
She clung on to her necklace with her eyes open and said the words on the page. Broken desires create broken hearts, therefore I wish you may, I wish you might, once again grant unbroken desires to heal broken hearts.
A purple light started glowing exclusively from the necklace that blinded her eyes making her shut them close for a couple of seconds. Her friends and dad came rushing upstairs after seeing the glowing light.
"What happened?" Carly asked
Bea held her necklace and wished for the pages of the book that was in front of her to start paging themselves just to check if the necklace was fixed. The pages of the book did indeed start paging themselves.
"I just fixed my necklace." She grinned with relieve.
"What made it not to work in the first place?" Her dad asked
"Mel." She said before she stood up from the bench she was sitting on and looked at her friends and dad. By saying Mel, her eyes widened as she remembered that Mel was in a forest without her necklace, probably committing suicide.
