My eyes slowly begin to open. That was the best sleep I've had in awhile. The warm blankets around me was tempting me to stay in bed but I knew I've probably wasted a lot of time already. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes.
I accidentally left my glasses on again which made my nose itch. I stretched my arms up into the air, yawning. It was time to figure out what the hell was going on. I threw the blanket aside and stood up.
I grabbed my coat and put it on, fixing the collar with my thumbs. Then my eyes made contact with the swollen eye briefcase. Should I take it with me? I decided not to. If I was going to try to ask Zim what was happening I needed to not appear as a threat.
It was weird to think that I was going to try to be nice to Zim. I hated that thought. Zim was an alien that was supposed to be stopped! By me specifically! I mean no one else was going to. But for this specific manner I need him to not be put in an autopsy video. If I tried to take him down I probably would have to reset.
I shivered at the thought and headed out the door. When I made it downstairs one of the holes was in the living room. I didn't care at this point. As much as I wanted to inspect it I had to talk to Zim.
I headed into the kitchen table and sat down. I decided to play along for the day. Until I get to Zim of course. Then I would immediately start hunting for the answer.
Like last time Gaz and Dad were already there. Dad was preparing his electronic fork and Gaz was playing her Videosgame. Just like last time. Then Foodio3000 screamed out and food appeared. "I hope you love what I have made." He then zoomed out of the room.
I picked up the fork next to my plate and stabbed one of the pancakes on the plate. I suddenly didn't feel hungry anymore. I didn't have an appetite. Everything looked really gross for some reason.
I stood up out of my chair and headed to the front door. Playing along was probably the smart thing to do but after everything I couldn't just sit there. I turned the knob and walked outside, closing the door behind me. It was time to find answers.
I didn't even bother waiting for the bus I just started walking to school. It wasn't that far of a trip and I'd rather not wait another hour for my bus to arrive. I hate the bus.
The whole walk to school I was able to think. The green figure was a lot taller than Zim. Maybe it's one of those tallest he kept talking over and over about. But it seriously looked like Dad. Which was terrifying. I shook my head. There's no way it could possibly be Dad.
From what I could tell from the room I was in there was a lot of tech. I couldn't make it out but there was glowing blue lights everywhere. Also that mask. It reminded me a lot of those masks at hospitals that help people breathe. Why would I need that?
Things were slightly starting to make sense. I had enough information to start making theories. Was someone experimenting on me? Was it really all a dream? Was I in a weird coma or something? Was the plain of existence I was in even real?
Without realizing it I had passed the skool. I had to quickly back track. I walked up the steps to the front door. It was time to see what Zim had to say about all this.
I quickly headed to Ms. Bitters classroom where Zim was already sitting at his desk. No other students were there and not even Ms. Bitters. I started to walk over and I noticed how… lifeless he looked. He was not moving at all he was just staring straight forward. I needed to get his attention.
I slammed my hands on the desk and he quickly looked up at me, "How dare you slam the almighty Zims desk!"
"Yeah yeah whatever Zim. Look alien. I need your.."
My throat started to hurt as the words left my mouth, "..help."
