Avery's POV
I woke up seeing the bright sunlight shine through the blinds. I turned over and looked at the clock, 8:30, ugghhhh it's too early to be up or alive. I rolled back over and was about to drift off into sleep when I heard my door slam open.
I opened my eyes to see my brother Jack jumping on my bed.
" Get up Ave! We're going to the basketball court with Johnson today! You've got 15 minutes to get ready so we can leave!", he yelled then as quickly as he had come in, he was gone.
I decided I should probably get up and get ready. So I walked to my closet and pulled out a 5sos t-shirt, blue short shorts and my Nike runners. I pulled my long brown hair into a ponytail and headed downstairs. I approached the living room and saw Jack and Johnson.
"Johnson!" I yelled running up to hug him. "Lil G!" He yelled back hugging me. He always called me 'Lil G 'ever since we met. Johnson is like another brother and I just love spending time with him and Jack.
After my Johnson hug I went to the kitchen and grabbed a pop tart and went to the closet and grabbed my blue and white penny board. Jack and Johnson grabbed theirs and then we were off. We played for a few hours then decided to head home.
"Hey it's contest time. Whoever gets in the house last has to make lunch and then dinner later.", Jack offered. "Ok you're on you doofuses " I said as I skated home fastly. As I came up to the drive way I saw a moving truck in the driveway of the house next to us. 'Hmmm.... I wonder who's moving in?' I thought but then I was pulled out of my thoughts by the chantings of the Jacks. I realized that I was last in the house. Poo, now I have to make lunch and dinner.
After eating and several hours later, Johnson went home and I was headed for bed. I walked to Jack's room and stuck my head through the door. He looked over at me,"hey sis whatcha need?" He asked . "Do you know who's moving in the house beside us?" I asked. "I heard it was a family from down South and that's it but we can go meet them tomorrow", he said getting up. "Ok, night bro, love you", I said hugging him. He hugged me back and kissed me on the forehead," love you too baby sis". I walked into my room and changed into pjs then crawled into bed. I couldn't get my mind off who the new neighbors might be but after thinking awhile I fell into a peaceful sleep .
