Sam's POV
" Sam. Can I talk to you upstairs?", Jack asked motioning to the stairs. Oh great. Thanks Johnson! (Note the sarcasm(-_- ) Once we were upstairs, we walked in a room and he shut and locked the door.
I was worried about what would happen. "Sam?", He asked. "Yeah Jack?", I asked turning to face him. He sighed sitting here n the bed, putting his head in his hands. "Sam, please take care of Ave. She's all I have left and I can't lose her. I know you'll take care of her and love her. I know that. But promise me that you'll ways protect her, and make her happy.", he said with tears in his eyes rolling down his face. He looked so broken and vulnerable.
What did he mean by ' she's all he has left'? I'll ask after this.
"Jack, I swear on my life to take care of her. I'll protect her with my life. Shes my heart, my world, my everything. I'll give her the world if she wants it. I promise Jack. I do.", I explained sincerely sitting next to him.
"Thanks man.", he sniffled. "Hey um, what did you mean by she was all you had left?", I asked nervously.
" I'd tell you but it's better if Avery told you. So ask her.", he said.

Next chapter will reveal a sad and hard part of Avery and Jacks past.
