When I look at you I feel so dumb
My entire body seems to go numb
I can't move
I can't look away
All I'm asking is for you to stay
What if I died tomorrow?
Would you cry and be in sorrow?
Honestly, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me
Even though you can't see
That you and I are meant to be forever
I wouldn't trade you in for any amount of treasure
Just don't come crawling to me when it's too late
And when you ask me out on a date
I'll say "No. I gave you a second chance."
That's when you'll ask me if I want to dance
You'll pull me in so close that I can hear your heartbeat
And now my world is finally complete
You'll look me in the eyes and say "I love you"
And there's only one thing I could do
I leaned in and our smiles met
Now everything seems all set
We'll walk away hand in hand
You'll take me to a beach with sand

I'll open my eyes and realize it was all in my mind
But could this be a certain sign?
Do you actually love me?
Do you actually care?
Do you wish upon a star wishing I was there?
