Having it Easy

There was a girl who "had it easy"

Her brother always made fun of her for not being smart

He always did that from the start.

Daddy just pushed her away

When this girl just wanted to stay.

Mommy looked out for her everyday

But somehow this girl never got her way

She was beaten by words

And thrown around

Everyday she would cry quietly without a sound.

"It's strange isn't it?"

The girl said with pain glared in her eyes.

"Everything I know is just one big lie."

So she laid in her bed

With tears down her face

Soon everyone would see

That this girl is me.
