Next day...

I went up to the school's rooftop slowly by using the metallic stairs with my school bag still at my back.

I went to school earlier just to stroll down and find if I found anything because I can't stop thinking about Suhyeong. I really think something was off about her and I should find that out sooner or later.

I pulled the gloves to tightened it up in case I found something and I don't want to mess the thing up with my fingerprints so I'll just wear that thing.

I pushed the metallic door slowly, leaving a loud creak as the breezy morning wind greeted me.

I just walked and checked each corner if I found something but a loose brick from a lower part of a wall caught my eyes.

I approached the place, went down to my knees and pulled the brick slowly from the wall and the dusts went out.

The hole was dark so I reached my hand in the hole, roaming my hand around and my hand caught something.

I pulled it out as the thing was fully displayed in front of my eyes. I held it up in front of my face, turning it back and front.

The silver shiny thing was covered in dry blood as I took out a clear plastic bag from my bag and placed it in before zipping it.

I think that thing was related to her sister's murder.

I was about to put the brick back to its place when I saw a sticker on the brick. A clover sticker.

A three leaf clover.

Hmm so now my clue is, the book 'midnight stairs', the mysterious note about a warning to not go to the school's rooftop at midnight, the bloody hammer and the three leaf clover sticker at the brick that was blocking the hole.

I took the sticker and took out the book midnight stairs and opened the first page of the book before sticking the clover sticker on it.

"what an interesting mystery but how can the cops or detectives couldn't help her and uncover the murderer? Unless the murder took place not long ago and she was missing "I muttered under my breath.

"Okay so class, the school would hold a funfair few days later and the principal informed to us that you all are welcome to join the activity and be a part of the funfair. So classes would be cancelled for days until the funfair because there would be important guests visiting our school" our homeroom teacher announced as the classroom was later filled with happy cheers.

"But, we are asked to decorate the hallways and the school hall for the performing students "the teacher continued and the cheers now turned into low groans.

"Okay so let's get out and some of you can decorate the hallways while the rest would be decorating the hall"

Students stand up and approached their own close friends before exiting the classroom.

"So... Are you going to participate in any of the funfair Hyun-ah?" Suhyeong asked me while we were walking out of the classroom door at the hallways, passing some other students from other classes who were busy decorating or holding up banners at the hallways.
