Chapter 10

Mariya,Gina,Claudine and Melissa were in Melissa's room discussing about what had happened between Melissa and Vlad including Viktor.

"I hate all rich people. Who do they think they are? Due to an accident, Viktor takes me to jail just because he has the power to do so. Vlad thinks he can play with my feelings. It's a pity I fuckin' hate him. I hate all of them." Melissa kept on ranting.

The other ladies kept on looking at her leaving her to rant. They wanted her to vent all her anger out.

"I warned you about Vlad,Melissa. You thought I was exaggerating. Now see the consequences." Gina said.
"Hush it Gina. Just hush it. It's enough. Vlad said the lady tried to seduce him. It is normal for a guy to be enticed by a beautiful lady. The only good thing is that Vlad never gave in. That's a huge difference between him and those that cheat." Claudine said.
"So you are defending Vlad now and accepting his fault. Then you say you are a friend to Melissa." Gina said.
"Gina don't try to get on my nerves right now because you won't like it." Claudine said.
"Both of you should stop the quarrelling. Let's try to help our friend Melissa here instead of quarrelling amongst ourselves." Mariya said.

Mariya went and sat closer to Melissa on the bed and held her hands.

"Melissa, I know you are new here. In fact we all know that. What you have encountered here in Russia in these few days is what three of us haven't encountered in the years we have spent here. Am I right ladies? Mariya asked.

Mariya saw the other girls nod their heads and she continued talking to Melissa.

"You should be happy and grateful that you have met faithful friends like us. Also, there's a man that loves you entirely even though he makes mistakes." Mariya said.
"I hope you are not talking about Vlad here." Gina said.
"Gina can you shut the hell up and let me finish what I was saying. Okay, before someone interrupted, I was saying that Vlad loves you entirely. I haven't seen Vlad behave towards any lady like the way he behaves towards you. Oh my God,Vlad cried because of you. A mafia heir who is supposed to display power and strength and not show weakness. He showed his weakness because of you. Akwo Melissa Bell,you are Vlad's weakness and I wish a guy could cry because of me. Don't listen to Gina,follow your heart babe. You know the value of something when it loses. A word to a wise is sufficient." Mariya said.

While the ladies were talking to Melissa, the guys were talking to Vlad. Vlad had not eaten or spoken to anybody since the incident between him and Melissa happened.

"Bro,you need to put yourself back up. It's not healthy for you to be like this." Boris said.
"Boris, I haven't seen Vlad behave like this. It's strange." Andrian said.

Vlad was sitting on the sofa drinking vodka. He was already tipsy and it was still early in the morning.
"Vlad,you would make yourself to get sick if you continue behaving like this." Andrian said.
"I don't care." Vlad responded.
"This is not the best way to get Melissa to understand you. Stop behaving like a drunk and man up. You control more than a thousand people in Bratva. They fear you bro. If they see you in this state, what would they think? You need to man up. I don't like seeing you like this." Boris said.

As Boris was talking to Vlad, Vlad's phone started ringing. He thought it was Melissa, so he hurried and took the phone. He only discovered that it was his father calling him.

"Hello dad." Vlad said.
"What am I seeing on the news and News Papers. Who is that girl you were kneeling and crying for? Vladimir said.
" Dad,I don't understand what you are saying? "Vlad said.
"Vlad Dimitrov do not play games with me. I am your father. Turn on the news channel and see for yourself. After that in less than an hour,I want to see you home." Vladimir said.

As Vladimir Dimitrov said this, he ended the call. Vlad took the remote of the TV and tuned into the news channel. The headlines were 'Mafia heir,Vlad Dimitrov of the Bratva cries over a lady. It looks like the lady rejected him. What is going on?'

"What the fuck?" Boris said.
"How the hell did this video reach the news. It was just yesterday and the video is already viral." Andrian said.
"It was public. I am sure people videotaped the whole scene because they cannot mind their businesses." Vlad said. "Boris, please help me check through the window if the paparazzi is out because if they are,I'm doomed."

Boris went to the window and checked as instructed by Vlad. He came back with a gloomy face.

"Vlad,they are around with their cameras and microphones. How the hell would you pass through them?"

Vlad put both of his hands on his face and sighed.

"What have I gotten myself into? And my dad wants to see me in less than an hour."
