God school is the worst. The amount of homework never decreases no matter how many times you ask Aizawa-sensei. Sigh. Guess I'll go home so i don't get caught in the rain.
I saw a stray stuck on the tree. My quirk, camouflage, couldn't really work in a situation like this and i couldn't just creep up on the poor kitten. I tried to climb the tree but in my UA uniform which had a skirt, i ended up having doubts. I tried to reach the branch but it was a few feet away from me. If only i was taller. I started to look around for something to climb on. I found a crate on the opposite side of the road. As i was about to cross i saw Bakugo walk past me to the tree.
He looks up at the kitten and raises his arms towards it. The kitten started to hiss and meow louder indicating it was scared. Well, honestly who wouldn't be scared of Bakugo's scrowl. I think he didn't get the message.
"Um..." He looks at me with an eyebrow raised. I quickly look down. I don't do well when people look me in the eye. I am afraid they would eat me up or tear me apart. "I-if y-you look-k at it like that-t, t-they won't come to you." I managed not to stutter the whole sentence, progress. I bravely look at him again and don't see the scrowl anymore. I put my index fingers at the ends of my mouth and push it up. "You have to s-smile for t-them."
I look down again. I can't believe i did that. I wait for him to shout or anything that he usually does but i hear nothing but the faint sound of mewling of the kitten. I look at him and see him smiling at the kitten in his hands. My eyes widen. The rudest person ever has cracked a smile. He..he looks good, now that i see closely.
He brings the kitten to me and looks at me with an expectant gaze. I just look at him confused. "Well, are you going to pet him or not, shy girl?" I blush at the nickname. No one's ever called me a nickname. I even realized that this is the first time i am talking to him. I nod and graze the kitten's head with a soft touch of my fingers.
It's so soft. I smile at the kitten. It licks my fingers in return. I giggle. "Stop. It tickles." I smile and continue petting him, completely forgetting about Bakugo.
"Ahem." I flinch at the sudden noise. I meet Bakugo's eyes and immediately look down. His stare is digging holes in me. "Are you going to name him or what?"
"I-it's a he?" He nods. Hmm. A name huh. He has a white under body and grey top.

"W-what a-about Y-yuz-zuki?" He raises his eyebrow again.
"What?" I take a deep breath and try to say it to the grooming kitten this time.
"Yuzuki." The kitten meows at the name. He likes it. I smile and look at Bakugo. He sighs. Thank goodness school is over. Now, we can find shelter for him.
"Should we go to the pet shop to drop this guy off?" Bakugo asks confused.
"T-they won't take him. After we leave h-him there they will k-kick him out because it's a stray."
