Chapter 6: ReyNico BrOTP

(A/N: This chapter will be ReyNico as friends. I believe writers should respect a character's sexual orientation, even in a fanfiction. Plus SolAngelo is perfect.)

Nico:

"O, Iris. Goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering. Show me Reyna Ramirez-Arellano at Camp Jupiter!" Nico said, flipping a coin into the small Hades fountain in the back of his cabin. He watched the water ripple, showing Reyna sitting at her desk.

"Hey Reyna!" he called.

Reyna's head shot up in surprise. "Nico! How are you?"

"I'm not bad.You?" Nico answered politely.

"Fine," Reyna said. "I meant to tell you before I left, but with all of the activity and packing and everything, it kind of slipped my mind. Anyway, I was wondering what you thought about having a Greek and Roman tournament, or something. "

Nico considered this idea for a moment. "I don't know. I guess that would be fun. I'd definitely like to see you and Hazel and the rest of the Romans again. But you should talk to Chiron or Annabeth or Percy about that," Nico shook his head. "Not me."

Reyna nodded and propped her head up on her hand. "It's just that you've seen both camps in action. Do you think this tournament would be evenly matched?"

Nico scratched the back of his head and answered, "Well, if the camps were evenly populated, then yes. But the thing is, there are way more Romans than Greeks."

"We could mix up the teams," Reyna suggested. "Have a team of Greeks and Romans against another team of Greeks and Romans."

"That would work," Nico said. "I'll see what Annabeth thinks; she can work out the issues and make us a diagram or whatever."

Reyna laughed, "Yeah alright. Iris Message me later, okay?"

"Yeah, okay," Nico answered. Reyna waved goodbye and Nico splashed the fountain water, erasing the message.
