Natasha's POV

I see Clint and Steve look at me, their eyes basically screaming at me. But I don't care. It's her. I thought she was dead!

Before anyone can stop me I rush forward and grab her, pulling her into the biggest hug of the decade (23 days of this decade left!). I can feel all 4 pairs of eyes on me (Stark was excused because of his laughter) as I hold her, rocking her back and forth whilst whispering comfort words into her ear. It wasn't until I saw a tear land on her head and felt the dampness on my chest did I realise we were both crying.

"Nat, what the hell is going on?" Of course the birdbrain would ruin this.

"That doesn't matter. What matters is that she will be living with us in the tower and will have full access like the Avengers. She is not a threat, I can assure you," I respond immediately.

"Romanoff you can't do that," Fury says as he walks into the room, deaths staring me. Like really, you think that would work? I'm the queen of death stares idiot.

"Well I just did so deal with it."

"Is no one else confused as to why Nat showed affection towards someone," Wanda says, joining us.

"Well yeah, but we're smart enough not to question it," ah, finally something that makes sense comes out of the Hawk's beak.

"Nat even if you want to do that, Tony probably wouldn't let you. You know how he is with the tower," Steve says softly.

"Oh, I know better than to argue with her. The girl already has full access to the tower," Tony says from the doorway. "Anyway, how do you know her Nat?"

"That is for me to know and you to- well, not."

—————Time Skip—————

We arrive back at the tower and I haven't let go of Charlie yet. She discretely tapped my leg in morse code, informing me she was nervous. I tapped back, telling her everything would be okay and to not answer questions. Gods I'm so happy she's back.

"Nat, we need to take her to the med bay, she looks pretty banged up," Stark says as Banner appears around the corner.

"Sure," I say, but Charlie immediately looks up at me terrified, "but I stay with her the whole time." She relaxes slightly at this, but still seems anxious.

Stark opens his mouth, clearly about to protest. "Of course, that's fine," Bruce says before Stark can argue.

"But I don't like people watching me work," Stark whines to Bruce quietly.

"Suck it up," is all he gets in response. Tony, being the 3 year old we all know he is, huffs in annoyance.

God knows why I'm still here lmao.
