Dragon Prince Zombie Apocalypse AU

A New Day, A New Beginning.

Callum wakes up to feeling great and refreshed. He gets a protein bar from his pocket and takes a few bites before Rayla started to wake up.

Callum: "Morning sleepyface, you hungry? Are you ready to be cured?"
Rayla: silence
Callum: "Rayla? You ok?" Rayla forces her head forward, bites down on Callums neck and rips part of it off. Callum pushes rayla off and trys to get up but slips in his own blood. Before he knew it, Rayla was on him and she cuts Callums stomach and arm with her nails. Rayla lunges for Callums neck and rips his throat out.

Callum: "NOOO!!!"

Callum wakes up scared and out of breath. Rayla woke up from Callum pushing her off.

Rayla: " What is it, what's wrong Callum!?!"

Ezran: "Callum!?!"

Callum: "oh thank God it was just a dream!! I thought I lost you Rayla. I'm sorry for shoving you off. It was so real."

Rayla: "Calm down, what happened Callum"

Ezran: "Yeah Callum your never been scared by anything. This isn't like you."

Callum: "I just had a nightmare. Even though I died that wasn't what scared me...."

Rayla: "What scared you?"

Callum: "I ... I lost you Rayla... You turned into a deadit and killed me. I was so terrified that we were too late."

Rayla: "Well we aren't and we should probably get me cured before your nightmare is a reality. I feel hot right now."

Ezran: "She's right. Ill get a syringe and a test tube" Ezran carefully gets both.

Callum: " I'll take it from here Ez" takes both items and fill the syringe with the cure from all the test tubes. It barely fills up to the first marker. He walks to Rayla and bends a knee.

Rayla: "It's a bit too early to be proposing don't you think?" She says jokingly

Callum: "Never seen you joke before, you should more often." He injects Rayla. Rayla is now cured and will be Immune to future infections. "We completed our goal, you're cured now. What are you going to do next?"

Rayla: "I'm pretty sure you should be asking 'what are we going to do next'."

Callum: "You're staying.... I'm happy to hear that." Callum pulls Rayla into a kiss.

Ezran: "Wait that's not part of the curing process."

Callum: "....AH YEAH, you were asleep and now this became a thing."

Ezran: "What?....whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat."

Rayla: "Yeah.... We're a thing."

Ezran: "Does this mean your my sister in law now?"

Callum: "EZ!?! WHAT THE....no she is not. I forget you were born in the apocalypse. We're dating, not married."

Rayla: "But maybe in the future I will be you sister in-law."

Callum and Rayla have a good laugh while Ezran just watches kinda confused. He doesn't know about marriage at all due to being born in the apocalypse.

After awhile Ezran was given a cure to prevent infection. They all head back to the truck and begin to make their way to the place their dad told them to go. Callum knows that he won't be there but he also knows something is there for them. Rayla rests her head on Callums shoulder and falls asleep. After a while they make it to the warehouse and Callum parks the car.

Next part might be the ending. Or it will be the end of the beginning.
