Cheryl's POV
1:00 PM Sunday

I woke up a little later then usual. I quickly went downstairs and everyone was already down there.

"Well look who decided to join us, This fine afternoon" Jason says. Toni giggles and nudge Jason. Toni mom rolls her eyes at the two teenagers.

"Good afternoon to you to baby bro" I say,knowing he hates when i point out I'm older by 5 minutes. He instantly stops laughing and glares at me.

"What was for breakfast?" I asked. "Waffles, theire in the microwave" my mom replied. I nodded and heated up my food.

"So what are we gonna do today?" Toni asked. Jason shrugged. "Its a Sunday what's open?" I asked. Toni opened her phone and looked up some places.

"There is this nice ice cream shop open" Toni says.

"I can't hang today, I promise valerie that I would help her with a song she is writing" Jason says. I forgot about valerie brown. She was Jason's crush until he had the guts to ask her out. Can't say the same for myself.

"Me and Valerie are gonna go look for some Jobs so looks like it's just you and Toni. It can be a date" my mom says. I spit out my waffle. My mom and Toni's mom smirked. I looked down.

"So,cheryl, wanna go to get some ice cream with me?" Toni asked. I nodded and grabbed my plate putting it away because my hunger was replaced with nevres. I went upstairs quickly,blushing violently.

Toni's POV

Cheryl ran up to her room quickly. She is one weird kid. I looked at my mom who was smirking real hard.

"Mom, Penelope? What's up with the smirks?" I asked. They laughed.

"Can't you see she has a crush on you?" Penelope says. My mom nodded. I looked at her. Shaking my head.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Because for 1; she is my daughter 2; I can see it in her eyes" Penelope listed. I sighed. I mean I obviously had a crush on her too. But I didnt know how to act on it....

I excused myself and ran up to my room to get dressed. After I got dressed I went down stairs to the kitchen, where cheryl was waiting.

"Ready?" I asked. She looked up at me and her jaw slacked. She looked me up and down, I'm guessing she was checking me out.

"Uh,Cheryl, are you okay?" I asked.

"Uh.. uh I-I'm F-Fine" she stutters. Welp I guess she really does have a crush on me.

She grabs her car keys and we walk out. She opened the car door for me. I smiled and thanked her.

"So where is this ice cream shop?" She asked.

Cheryl's POV
2:30 PM

Toni gave me the directions to the ice cream shop. And drove us over there.

"Can I get strawberry please" I asked the cashier. He nodded. Then Toni ordered.

"Can I get vanilla with sprinkles" Toni smiled. He nodded, he looked Toni up and down and bit his lip. I was honestly disappointed and disgusted. Because I just can't get the guts to ask Toni out.

Toni smirked at him and I cleared my throat. He looked away and went to order my ice cream.

"What was that lingering look?" I teased, trying to hide my disappointment.

"Nothing. It was just a playful situation. I have eyes for a certain someone. Might I add im-" I cut her off.

"Yeah, your more into girls anyway" I finished her sentence. To which she just smiled and nodded.

We sat down and talked for a little bit. After we finished our ice cream we decided to go home.

3:50 PM

We get home and no one was there. I found a note on the fridge.

Jason is out with valerie and I'm out with valerie (toni mom) looking for a job. We wont be here until later, order pizza for dinner.

Welp looks like it's just me and Toni. Alone, with no one here, just us. I gulped. This is gonna be so hard sitting with my crush. Lord help.
