Toni's POV

My phone ding indicating that someone texted me. I felt a weight on my side, cheryl was still in my bed?

I looked around the room still the same as yesterday, but if we didn't move how did we eat dinner.

I look on my nightstand and theres a note from Penelope.

I saw that you and cheryl had fell asleep. You guys looked so cute I didn't want to you wake you both up. I'm gonna be out all day, theres leftovers in the fridge or do whatever you please.

I laughed lightly at the note Penelope Blossom is a huge choni fan I can give her that.

I grabbed my phone of the nightstand. It was from Jason. Huh? Weird I opened the message.

Boybestie🤪: I'm going to an appointment with val👶. Didn't want to disturb the choni cuddling going on😉. See ya later, love ya💖.

I smiled. Hes so dorky.

Me: okay. And whatever I'm the big spoon asshat🤣. Enjoy your appointment with your baby momma👶. Love ya too fuck boy🤣💖.

I replied.

Me: whatever. Enjoy your day.

I shut my phone off. And laid back down. Cheryl started to stir in her sleep.

"Goodmorning, how'd you sleep?" I asked, cheryl put her face in the crook of my neck, Pecking it lightly.

"I slept well, mostly because you were here" Cheryl responded. I nodded.

"Jason is out with his baby momma. Your mom said she'll be out all day, so it's just you and me" I divulged. Cheryl lefts her face out of my neck. Julia had got here own apartment last week.

After Jason told us about valerie. She decided she was gonna live closer to campus and to her family so she brought an apartment in the middle of riverdale.

"Oh. Wanna go to pops for breakfast?" Cheryl asked.

"Yeah,sure, come on" I smiled. We decided to just wear our pajamas there. We're only eating breakfast who is there to impress.

Cheryl's POV

Toni and I entered the diner.

"Morning pops!" Toni says, sliding into the booth. Me sliding in after.

"Morning girls! What can I get you two?" He asked.

"Just our usual breakfast" I said. He nodded, disappearing into the kitchen.

"Did you talk to Julia about her new apartment yet?" Toni makes conversation.

"Yeah. She said it's nice and homey, that we should all go visit when shes not in classes" I replied. Toni nodded.

We keep talking about anything and everything. She's just an amazing person to speak to.

Pops brings us our food we eat then we head back home.

Toni's POV
2:34 PM

Me and cheryl decided to take a nap. I was tired as hell I woke up to my mom calling.

"Hello?, mom is everything okay?"

T-toni?. Grandma passed away!

"W-what? W-what do you mean? How? She was okay! Sh-"

T-toni I need you to come out here first thing tomorrow morning please! Bring everyone we need to say g-goodbye

"Mom. I'll take the next plane to you. Tell grandpa I love him" with that I hang up.

I was sobbing. This couldn't happen to me again first my dad now my grandma.

Cheryl's POV

I heard sobbing. I looked up and saw Toni sobbing hysterically.

"Toni? Are you okay? What's wrong?" I frantically asked.

Toni sobbed into my chest.

"My G-Grandmother P-Passed A-Away. My M-Mom needs me T-To fly out T-There tomorrow" Toni digluved

I felt my heart sink. Her dad now her grandmother. I felt so bad.

"Shh shh, its gonna be okay, Toni" I smoothly hush her. Toni nodded.

She started hyperventilating.

"Hey! Hey!, look breath with me." I say. I grab her hand and place it on my chest.

"Look, see?, you feel that? Make your heart beat at the same pace. Look breathe with me" I carefully instructed.

Toni obliged to my instructions, then her breathing patterns get calmer.

"You wanna talk about it?" I asked, Toni shook her head 'no' and cuddled into me more.

We just sat in silence. I drew circles on her back with my hand, gently going in a circular motion. She sniffled here and there, but I carefully shhh her.

After a while. She had stopped, realizing she was sleep. I feel asleep soon after.

Cheryl's such a good person.....

Anyway I'm tired so I'm gonna take a nap
