I had way too much to drink, it's the day before going back to school the End Of Summer Senior Bash party. I don't really party but I know that this is my last year then I go off to college so I might as well have plenty of fun.
Everyone looks so happy and also drunk. Before I knew it I see my friend Eli on this other dude grinding all I could do is laugh at him acting the fool.
"Brooklyn get ya ass up girl and come dance," Eli said yelling right in my ear
"I don't dance," I said as I was pulled by Eli to the middle of the living room
"Well you're going to dance today"
I threw my hands in the air like everyone else with bodies moving all around. I feel a little too hot so I took off my Jean jacket and threw it on the ground and didn't feel like picking it up.
"I'll be right back Eli," I said walking away into the kitchen to get something to drink
"Shit," I said looking in the fridge for something cold
"What can't find something to drink?"
I looked up to see whose voice is talking to me. I didn't know this person but all I know is he looking like a whole snack. His dark skin looking smooth it's like he put on a full bottle of baby oil on his skin. The smell of his cologne smelt so strong I wanted to hug him but I just met him I don't even know his name.
"Uhh kinda...yeah," I said with an unsure tone
"Well maybe you should check the freezer," he said with a smile
I opened the freezer and found a full case of water that was unopened. Wow, I feel dumb like the only place I looked was the fridge and forgot the freezer was a thing.
"Uh thank you," I said standing back up
"No problem... What your name," he said looking right into my eyes
"It's... Brooklyn"
"Caleb that's my name"
"Cool...well would you like to take me home I don't think I'm able to drive," I said looking down.
"Sure, where do you live?" He said walking out the front door with me
I threw him my keys so I could get in the passenger seat. I felt so sleepy but I also have a random stranger I just met In my car. I could be lying if I said that I didn't stare at Caleb while he was driving me home.
"Here we are" Caleb looked at me up and down with his hazel dark eyes. I don't know why I just stood there looking into his eyes in the quiet car.
"Oh yes, how are you going to get to your place?" I asked taking my seat belt off and reaching my hand for the doorknob. We already made it outside in front of my doorstep so before can take my black ass to sleep.
"Don't worry about that you probably won't remember me tomorrow at school anyway?" Caleb said with a chuckle and a wave leave my doorstep
"I wonder what he meant"

It's currently 7:30 am, I am so exhausted from last night and I have this weird dream that I had met this figured shaped guy. I think nothing less and as usual goodbye summer and hello back to hell at "Rhodes Point high school". I head to the bathroom to shower then brush my teeth. Now it's back to picking clothes I don't technically need anything flashy because there is no one to impress but myself. I just keep having this thought in my head I can't get it out but I'm so sure about today.
