Chapter 10

I heard the boys talking in the front of the bus as I laid in Kells bunk staring at the ceiling with the curtain closed.

(Colsons POV)
I sat down running my hand down my face in frustration. Dom and I tried everything to get Layla out of my bunk. Nothing was working so we decided to just leave her alone deciding she just needed to be alone. I felt crappy that there's nothing I can do to make her feel better. I felt like an awful boyfriend. "Am I a shit boyfriend?" I said to Dom. "No man,this is just how she is when this kinda stuff happens." He responded. "She loves you Kells." He added. "Colson" Layla yelled from my bunk. I got up walking to the bunk area carefully pulling open the curtain. "Yea baby?" I asked. She slid out of the bunk wrapping her arms around me burying her face in my chest. She's only an inch shorter than Dom so it wasn't hard for her to do. I rest my head onto of hers holding her tight. "I love you." She said. "I love you too Layla.its gonna be ok I promise." I said gently. "I wanna talk about something else." She mumbled. "Casie is gonna join us for a couple shows starting today." I told her. She pulled back a little looking at me with wide eyes. "What?" I asked. "Does she know we are dating?" She asked. I nodded my head placing my hands back on her waist kissing her forehead. "Why are you freaked out. She's met you before,she loves you." I said. She shrugged burying her face back in my chest sighing. I picked her up walking out to the front lounge placing her next to Dom before telling her I was gonna go shower before I went to pick up Casie.

(Layla's POV)

I know I left my parents when I was young and went to stay with Dom's family. But after my parents got divorced I got in touch with them and close with them. Both separately and they were able to be friends with each other. I dropped my face onto Dom's chest as he wrapped his arms around me protectively. I fell asleep just like that.
