Random Richard's POV!!!

Something is definatly off with Mr baby brother. Firstly, there's his scent. It changed, but I don't know how or why. He still smells like Ethan, but I keep getting random whiffs of something else. A few something elses. There's that herby scent that is always covering up any other scents. I'm not sure I believe what he said about it being a new kind of soap. It covers his scent up way to throughly to be soap. And I occasionally catch a few other scents that aren't his scent under the herby smell. One reminds me of the scent of one of the other wolves in the pack, I just can't pinpoint who, and the scent is on him in a way that makes me think of the way a female smells after her mate marks her. But that can't be right... Right? The other that I've caught only once is warm and milky and I don't know, motherly? It's got me totally stumped. All I can say is, my little brother smells funny. It's not just me either, because mom, dad and Carter all smell it too. Then there is the fact that he's been acting weird lately. I've been watching him closely for the past two weeks and he really is acting strange. He's eating alot more than he normally does and is putting on some weight, and he keeps getting weird cravings, like for chocolate dipped pickles. I'm sorry, but eww! And one minute he is perfectly fine, then he's throwing things posted off, then he's calling into sobs and no one can calm him down. He's always, like... Rubbing his now pudgy tummy and smiling at it when he thinks no one is watching. You can't tell me that isn't weird! Also, he has recently started wearing strange soothes the past few days. It's hovering around 100 degrees outside since it's the middle of summer, but he has taken to wearing hoodies. My hoodies. That are way huge on him. Not to mention, I haven't seen him in a tank top, his normal mode of dress on summer, for goddess knows how long. He's always makes sure to wear the shirts. Though, the weirdest thingthing hast to be, he is always within a few feet of the omega. I though he didn't care about the omega, like the rest of the pack, but I guess they made friends or something...

    "Richard," dad says, clapping a hand on my shoulder and surprising me because is was so deep into my thoughts. "Help me call a pack meeting."

With that he walks off. Huh, a pack meeting. I wonder what happened? Guess I'll figure that out at the pack meeting. Time to go gather people.

One everyone is settled, mom and dad get up in front of everyone and start explaining.

    "The JayForest Pack has invited us to come stay with their pack for a while." He pauses to let the hubba bubba that kicked up dies down. "We are going to make a treaty and perhaps even combine our packs because of all the recent rogue activity," He has to pause again, "and to do that, we want our packs to get to know each other. So we are going to go stay with their pack for about a month. We leave in a week."

The exited chatter is cut off when Doctor Ida stands up.

    "Yes, Ida?" dad ask her politely. Everyone respects her, even the alpha. Where would we be without our doctor? She clears her throat.

    "I don't want Ethan to go-" She is cut off by Ethan making a whining sound, but silences him with a glare. "I don't think that he us well enough to make the journey, so my daughter and I will stay here with him."

Dad sighs.

    "Ok, if you say so. I want the image to stay too, and it would make me more comfortable it at least one more warrior would stay..." He trails off, waiting to see if anyone will volunteer. There is a sigh, before Ryland, Ethan's best friend, raises his hand.

    "I want to go, but I'll stay."

Dad  smiles and thanks him. No one else offers to stay, so the meeting is adjourned so people can go pack. I guess I should go pack too...

Whatcha think of the pardon POV change? You got a little insight into what's going on in Richards brain and what is going to happen soon. I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter. I guess it's kind of a filler.
