Chapter One - "The Fateful Meeting"

*(Y/N)'s POV*

It's Saturday, a great day to be at the pet shop. So many different pets, making a variety of noises. Some meow, some bark.
My favorite is the kind that's more quiet: rabbits. They're pretty cute. I used to have a rabbit; all white, red eyes. It ran away on me somehow.

I saw a girl looking at the rabbits, talking to them.

"You're so cute, aren't you?"

I laughed. She must like rabbits.
Maybe she can help me get a new one?

"Excuse me," I said.

"Oh!" She said, startled. "Hi. You scared me a little there. I almost dropped my drink!"

She had green eyes and long hair. She smiled at me.

"Sorry if I scared you," I said. "Mind if I ask you a question?"

"Sure!"

"Which rabbit is the best here?" I asked.

"All of them! I love rabbits! So, because of that, I say all!"

She seems excited now. I like this girl. Looking at her now, I think she's in my class, although I don't know her name.

"What's your name?"

"Tae! My name's Tae! Some call me O-Tae, so you can, too. I would love to talk more, but I have band practice now. See ya!"

She left the shop, just like that.
Maybe I'll see her tomorrow at school. I hope so. I want to chat more about rabbits, and really, to get to know her. I think she's pretty cute, too.

The next day...

*Tae's POV*

Ohh, I never asked her name! I don't recall seeing her in class… 
Maybe I have, but I guess I space out too much. I'll have to do that today.

The morning came, and I walked to school  I didn't see anyone from the band yet, but I'm certain to run into Kasumi or Saya.
Thinking of Saya, I kinda want some bread from her bakery.

Maybe I'll go there after school.

Aww, but I have no more money… I used it at a croquette shop in Downtown earlier.

Suddenly, in front of the school, I saw the girl from yesterday. She seemed to be hesitant.

"Yo!" I said, walking up to her.

"Agh!" she shouted. "Oh, it's you… Tae, right?"

I was happy to hear she remembered my name.

"Ah, yeah. I never caught your name, fellow rabbit lover."

"I'm (Y/N)!" she told me.

"I like that name. Sounds like the kind of name of someone who loves bread…"

"What?"

"Well, I was thinking… you and I could go to the bakery downtown after school? Just us. We could talk about… stuff, or how the apple never hit the guy under the tree…"

"I do like bread. But…"

"Pleeeeeeease?" I used my puppy eyes to really get her.

"Hmm… with those cute, puppy-dog eyes, how can I refuse? Sure. In fact, I'll be buying, too!"

"Wonderful! It's a date!" I smiled and hugged her. "Promise I'll make it up to you."

During lunch, I hung out with the band as usual, but this time, I added (Y/N).
