Chapter Two - "Special Practice Time?!"

Author's Note: Sorry for such a late chapter! I was busy. I'll update more frequently! Enjoy this chapter! I wanted to try something even more different this time.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

I'm super excited for today. Usually school's boring because of math class, but now with Tae, I can look forward to something, at least.

School was still pretty uninteresting though. I was expecting to talk to Tae's friends, but they all decided to work on unfinished assignments, leaving me alone with Tae. Not a bad outcome.

"So, Tae. How's lunch today?" I asked, starting the conversation.

"Not fantastic. I brought my own. Actually, it's the anpan from yesterday! I didn't quite finish it."

"Mmm, Yamabuki Bakery has great bread…" I already began to daydream about the bread there.

"I need to practice later today at home…" I heard Tae say. "So I can't go to Saya's bakery."

"Oh! That reminds me. What instrument do you play in the band?"

"Only the best instrument in the world! Try to guess!"

"Hmm…" I thought about it. "Tuba?"

"Nope!"

"Tambourine?"

"Nuh-uh."

"Then what is it?"

"Oh, you silly girl," Tae said. "I play the guitar! I am pretty good… or at least I think so."

"You practice at home, right?"

"Yeah, not at school too much anymore because the teachers get mad. I heard they took Kasumi's Random Star once..."

"I really want to see you play!" I told her. "Please! Let me come to your house!"

"Ehh?"

"Yeah! It'll be fun! How about it?"

"Ah, my parents won't be home today after school anyway… OK! You can even meet my boyfriend at my home, too!"

"B-b-b-b-boyfriend?!" I shrieked.

"Yeah, he's such a cutie! You'll love 'em."

Tae has a boyfriend? Interesting how she's never talked about him. Now my interest is above the roof! I can't wait for after school!

…

So, after classes finally finished for the day, Tae and I went to her house.

She doesn't live too far, it's not too far of a walk.

As I walked indoors, I was surprised to see a normal-looking house. With Tae, I was expecting something unique.
But as I walked into her bedroom, everything changed.

"Say hi to (Y/N), everyone!" Tae shouted to a horde of rabbits. There were more than I could count.

"Tae, do you own all these rabbits?"

"Uh-huh! Now say hi to my boyfriend!" Tae picked up a white bunny.

I looked around the room.
"Uhh, where is he?"

"Right in front of you, silly." Tae pointed to the bunny. "This is Oddie!"

I laughed.
"Ha ha… Tae, you had me there. I was expecting… a person!"

"Oh, you did? No, I don't have a boyfriend, I have a rabbit friend!"

Tae put the rabbit down and she let them all out of her room.
