White flags of the Black Serpent wafted in the wind from the wall stands on each building, the sidewalk bustling with the activity of black and blond haired people. Street commotion was common, horns from cars being honked at people jaywalking, random gunshots from all different parts of the city, yelling, shrieking, brawling between gangs, and constant arguing between just about anyone around every single corner.

The Syncaire Kingdom had become a hell hole since the Hellot Islands conquered them in the last war, their massive numbers in aerial combat vehicles having been the ultimate downfall of the Syncaire military. A grand majority of Syncaire officials and military officers were publicly executed, only leaving those that stayed in hiding among the civilian populace, praying they would return home safely each day.

Walking down the narrow street of a neighborhood, dusk rising to the sky with rain clouds forming above slowly, a woman donning a white dress and black sneakers stood in front of a well kept, well lit house. It had two stories by the looks of it, its brown, wooden exterior dated to the rest of the colored metal jambs of the other buildings. Simple black edged lanterns hung on either side of the black polished door, actual candles inside of them instead of cheap light bulbs like most people would do these days. The porch wrapped around the house, empty yet welcoming to any who would approach the home, giving it a sense of countryside construction, another oddity in an urban neighborhood.

The woman inhaled, small tan purse in one hand, and knocked on the door, a sudden flash of lightning showing her long black hair to any who drove by. This neighborhood was well known to be the safest, only because it's population was made of Syncaire citizens, yet she still felt uneasy, knowing well that they would most likely see her as an enemy. She didn't blame them in the slightest, having been born in the Kingdom during its downfall some nineteen years ago and seeing the relations between Hellot immigrants and Syncaire civilians grow sour, even violent.

Footsteps approaching the door snapped the woman out of her thoughts and she stood as straight as she could. When it swung open, a shorter woman appeared, her blond hair almost glowing in the dark air. Her blue eyes were as beautiful as the rest of her face, red lips filled but not so much so they looked fake, her body the shape of an hourglass with amazing hips and breasts about as big as her head, if not larger. She was wearing a blue dress with a white dotted pattern, white stockings on her legs and white gloves that went up to her elbow. The woman looked over the person at her door with a raised eyebrow.

"Is there something I can help you with ma'am?" She asked very politely. Her voice was high pitched, not so much so to be grating, but enough of it could be annoying.

"Uhm..yes, I was told to come here in case of emergency," the woman on the porch reached into her purse and found the small slip of folded paper, handing it to the blond. She unfolded it, reading the text, and her face transformed into happiness.

"Oh it's you! Come in, please," she stood to the side of the open door, allowing her guest to enter. Inside was just as homely as the exterior was. The entryway was small with identical lamps to light it, floor a light hardwood with a black mat for wiping off and placing shoes, pictures and paintings of various locations in the world. To the left was what looked like the living room, two chairs and a couch placed before a stone fireplace, bookshelves filled to the brim with a wide variety of content, a wardrobe with glass doors, inside being expensive bowls and utensils. To the right, a dining room with an oval shaped, polished wooden table and seven chairs around it. There was a door in that room that didn't have a handle on it, most likely a swinging door that led to the kitchen. Above the table was a small chandelier, the ten golden curved arms each holding a lit, white candle. On it's own it wouldn't light the entirety of the room so other lamps were also placed on the walls too.
