I don't feel okey - Vienna was sitting on one of the side walk tables, with Gale and Niamh. She looked like shit, paler than usual, and pretty sick. Clearly she could not go into the bar again, at least not in that kind of drunk state, and after having to be dragged outside. Out of nowhere she stood up nervously- Oh my god where's my bag?!
-Vienna I have your purse, sit back -Gale laughed, despite the awful situation he was smiling like every little thing drunk Vienna said was the funniest, wittiest thing he ever heard.
-May be I should get you home Vienna - Niamh looked pretty worried, she felt like, since Vienna was her coworker, and she was the one that found her on the bathroom stall, she had to be the one responsible for Vienna getting home safely. And she didn't trust Gale, not because of Gale being Gale, she didn't trust any unknown boys with girls. And he was laughing, Vienna looked like shit and he was laughing.
-Thanks Gale -she grabbed her bag looking for a tissue to wipe her face a bit, but gave up easily and then stood up slowly not to fall. Both of them were looking at her, cautiously, ready for Vienna to lose balance. But she didn't- Hey, success -she laughed and celebrated clapping for herself.
-We're proud of you blondie -Gale smiled and grabbed Vienna's hand, intertwining their fingers. Big moment, big step, but she was still too drunk to even get nervous.
-C'mon, I left my car a block away -Niamh tried to get Vienna's attention. Gale didn't liked it, he didn't know her either, and would not leave Vienna alone. She clearly couldn't be left alone sober, let alone like this.
-No, no, it's okey, I got her -Gale gave Niamh a sarcastic smile- right blondie?
-Hello, I'm Niamh -she gave him a steady handshake with a bigger, more sarcastic smile- and this is my very drunk coworker -she pointed to Vienna's direction with her head, Vienna limited herself to nodding- whom I'm not letting go home with a one night stand. Who the hell do you think you are? - Niamh pressed her lips together looking at him from head to toe.
-Kids, kids, let's take it down a notch, 'key? Mommy's getting a headache.- Vienna raised one hand.
-That's the alcohol Vienna. -Gale stared at Niamh, frowning, not letting Vienna's hand go.
-Gale, this is Niamh -Vienna introduced them with a vague hand gesture and smiled to Niamh with complicity because she said her name right- She's my coworker. She works on the printing and publishing office. Oh, I remembered!! -Vienna celebrated and Niamh chuckled with her. Then smiled over confidently to the blue eyes boy in front of her.- And Niamh, this is Gale, he is... he is amm... -Vienna looked at him awkwardly, clearly not knowing if she was dumb, stupid of maybe still too drunk. The floor was still not steady under her feet.
-We're dating -Gale ignored Vienna's doubts, not breaking eye contact with Niamh.- I'm her date, nice to meet you, coworker. -He responded to Niamh sarcastically, nodding, over confidently.
Vienna was so confused, that was too much, the dreadful date, the puking, the new "friend", and now the dating news! She felt like a cold sweat coming down on the back of her neck, and got dizzy again. Her mouth got watery. All in one second. She pushed Gale aside, rushed to the street curb and started vomiting again.
-Oh Jesus Christ Vienna -Gale helped pulling her hair away from her face.
-I gotta take you home, seriously -Niamh was sincerely worried for her and tried to take Vienna's bag from Gale's shoulder, but he ignored her, not letting the bag go.
-Yeah, it's across the street. -Gale took the tissue Vienna never got the chance to take out of her bag and helped Vienna back on her feet.
-Does she live across the street or do you, Gale? Because I'm not letting you take her to your house in this state - Niamh claimed, both hands on her waist, clearly ready for an argument.
