Nova
Annie and I are going on a double date.
I'm not quite sure how I feel about that.
She loves the idea of double dates, and she really wanted to set me up with someone for fun to test her matchmaking skills. To be honest, I have no idea who's going to be on the other side of the table.
"Okay, so how casual is the place that we're going?" I asked.
"Not at all. No sneakers or jeans allowed." She stepped into her closet.
I sighed. I had no way of knowing where we were going since I was still sort of new to the LA area and I didn't know if there'd be anything on the menu I'd like to eat. Oh well.
I put on a solid black A-line dress and slipped on some short heels. I sat down at my vanity and pinned some of my hair up, making a half-up half-down style. I removed my glasses and made sure my makeup was okay, adding a little eyeliner. I put my glasses back on and looked at myself in our full-body mirror. I was so beautiful, oh my gosh. I pulled out my phone to get a mirror pic when Annie came over to take one with me. She had on a sleeveless black dress, as opposed to my dress, which had three-quarter sleeves, with white accents and her hair was in a high ponytail. We took a pic together and I put it on my snap story. She took one after with me and put it on hers. We got in our mom's car and she started driving to the restaurant. Annie checked her phone, and she saw that Asher texted a few minutes ago. He was on his way.
"So, I'm taking the girls to the restaurant for their first ever double date, and for Nova, it's her first ever blind date! Are you guys excited?" Mom said after turning on the camera.
"I'm honestly really nervous," I said.
"Don't worry, you're really gonna like who Asher and I found for you," she smiled. "If you don't like like them, you're at least gonna be good friends."
"I really hope so," I smiled.
Mom started talking about something that Winnie did earlier today, Annie commenting on some of it. I picked up my phone and replied to some instagram comments and liked some posts of my fans.

"Hi, we have reservations under the name 'Leblanc'," Annie said to the host.
"Okay, let me see, yes. Four menus, right?" He asked.
"Yes, please."
Right as the host was about to take us to our table, Asher walked in the door, greeting me with a hug and Annie with a kiss on the cheek. We followed the host to our table, which was against a large wall made of glass. We could see the sunset through it, and the restaurant was on the beach, which made it even better. It was truly gorgeous.
"When are they going to be here?" Annie asked Asher.
"Uhh," he pulled out his phone, "They're parking."
I assumed they were talking about my date. I grew more nervous. I picked up the menu to distract myself. I realized that this place only does two course meals for lunch. We got lucky that we came before it switches to the dinner menu, because then we'd have to do three courses. This place really is fancy. I decided to get the Brussels sprouts for my first course (they're made with green apple, coconut curry, peanuts, tamarind, and Thai basil, so they sound kinda good), and I planned on getting the crab for my second course, which comes with pasta, corn, and chives. I saw Asher turn around.
A girl in a lilac dress came around the corner. She had green eyes and strawberry blonde hair. She was so pretty, I have no idea how they even found her. She sat down in the chair across from me.
