Whether it was set in stone or not my next couple of days were nothing to brag about, they were just boring days with the only thing to spice them up being training. Learning magic was simply just really hard. It really opened my eyes to my lack of magical talent. I set my expectations too high for myself simply because my magical abilities were a little above average. I not only had to train myself magically but physically as well.

Reina forced be to run laps around the village for hours with no breaks. I felt like I could've dropped dead at any moment. Reina told me that your body could literally be destroyed by using magic that your body couldn't physically handle. But, the strength training was the worst by far. Me being totally out of shape already was a huge disadvantage, instead I was forced to hold larger rocks above my head and I also had to do push ups while Reina read through reports.

From what Reina told me I felt like I had a good idea of how the government was structured in this world. King Samuel, the current king, was the head of the government and the head of state and he handled all political decisions. King Samuel also chose the Council of Elders who served as his advisers and The Divine Knights of Fleyla were also selected personally by him. Each Divine Knight lead a specific branch of the military, though they were very flexible and could easily handle subjects that technically aren't their specialty . And each standard level knight served under a division lead by a Divine Knight.

One day Reina and I were sitting around a fire cooking a wild deer over a hot blazing fire. But, this time we had someone else with us. A girl with a tomboyish appearance named Sophie. She had short light brown hair that barely reached the start of her neck and chestnut colored eyes.

"Hey, I forgot something i'll be back soon okay?" Reina told me and Sophie.

"Alright." Me and Sophie said together.

Reina walked off back towards Hawkstead, her long hair dancing behind her. Sophie and I sat for a moment before Sophie spoke up.

"Kyousuke," Sophie said "Do you think Reina has been acting strange lately?"

"To be honest I haven't known her for long, so really I haven't noticed at all." I stated.

Sophie had a worried expression on her face and my words didn't give her any closure. A part of me felt sad for tell Sophie that.

"It must be Holloblood's return." Sophie said.

"No doubt. It must be worrying everybody," I said "speaking of which how do you know Reina?"

"Oh! I never told you did I? Well i'm a knight that serves under Reina's division." Sophie said.

Sophie told me that she had been serving under Reina for a few years now. Apparently Reina had been nothing but kind to her while she had been apart of her division. I gazed into Sophie's amber eyes with a serious expression.

"So," I continued "do you know Hollowblood's whereabouts?"

Sophie didn't seem happy at all to be talking about Hollowblood. She had a troubled expression on her face as she looked into the fire and talked to me.

"No I don't. They tend to keep the knights of the lower ranks in the dark about this stuff." Sophie said.

I could tell she was angered by this fact. She must have felt useless not being able to assist in the search of Maven Hollowblood. I thought she would have been happy she wouldn't be risking her life looking for him. My motivation to find him is to get him back for cursing me. Not only that but he killed the person that Corvus loved. My talk with Reiki was still fresh in my mind even though it had been last week.
