(Y/N) = Your Name
(F/N) = Friends Name"(F/N)! What in heavens name are you speaking of? I might as well talk to farm animals rather than you to get answers!" You place your hands on your hips in a sassy manner.
"What, you haven't heard? The Sphere Music Hall! It's a simply wondrous place full of happiness, equality, and radiance! It's so brilliant!" Your friend spoke with such awe, it almost convinced you of what she was saying was true.
"Oh please, (F/N) there is no place with the perfection you speak so fondly of. Perfection is merely an illusion and trick of the mind." You spoke defiantly.
"Well, this Saturday if you were to come with me, I could prove it to you,(Y/N)! But you won't come, like all the times before." Your friend ceased, waiting for some sort of response. When she realized she wasn't getting one yet, she continued to speak. "Oh, all the wonders you would miss out on. There's singing and dancing and music and laughing, oh, it's just endless! And not to mention the fortune teller-"
"Fortune teller, you say?" You raise an eyebrow. Despite being a heavy sceptic, you couldn't help but be interested in such a thing.
"Yes! Fortune teller! He's famous for his predictions that seem impeccably accurate. It's truly a wonder." Your friend entushed.
"I won't jest, I am quite interested. Will I believe it? Depends-"
"Are you saying you'll go?!" Your friend was nearly jumping up and down.
"Uh- I- oh! Why not!?" You giggle and your friend pounces on you as a hug. Your friend looked up at you sheepishly.
"May I say something a bit scandalous?" (F/N) smirked.
"We're the only ones around, aren't we? Knock yourself out, (F/N)!" You grin yourself.
"The fortune teller is rather attractive. He has a whimsical aura to him, quite whimsical. I remember when he told my fortune, he teased quite a bit, but I'll also admit I enjoyed it quite a bit as well..." Her face became sheepish again.
"I assume I'll figure out if that statement holds to be true as well." You continue to grin. She nods.
"He said I was protected under the star Vega. He complimented my radiance, too. Truly a charming man. I feel he'll be attracted to you, or maybe the other way around." (F/N) giggled deviously.
"Why you little imp!" You giggled as well. After a moment of laughter, you realized something. "What's this diviner's name, anyway?"
"His name..." Your friend seemed to ponder this question, even though it shouldn't be nessecary. "He goes by Blavat Sky."
~Saturday Evening~
"So...this has no cost at all?" You ask, baffled.
"Nope!" She smiled.
"Okay..." You say nervously as the two of you approach the entryway flooded with people of all age and social status.
You and your friend, both being daughters of barons, decided to wear everyday attire. You were glad you made that choice.
"You're nervous, (Y/N)..." (F/N) looked at you and smiled. "There is no reason to be...all that is here is simply prosperity and radiance." She smiled.
"I know...it's just...I'm not very comfortable with crowds such as this." You say as you scrunch up your face.
"That's completely understandable." You were both inside the building by now. "I was, too, the first time I came here." She reassuringly put a hand on your shoulder.
"Thanks, (F/N)." You and your friend look over the gigantic room. You see people chatting and dancing. You were beginning to think your friend was right...
"OOOH! Look, (Y/N)! Over there! That's Blavat Sky, the fortune teller!" Your friend excitedly clapped there hands.
"Okay, okay, calm down before you cause a fuss!" You hushed her. You see him at a little set-up with a chair or two. A thick crowd surrounding him.
"Alright, but let's join the crowd!" Your friend yelped.
"How does he even make his predictions?" You ask on the walk over to the crowd.
"You prick your finger with a needle, and then you drop a bit of blood in that cup he's holding. I don't know what he does from there. It's truly marvelous." She smiled blankly.
"Okay..." You say, slightly unnerved, arriving at the crowd. To put that thought aside, you decide to pay more attention the Blavat and what he's doing.
"Oh, how interesting..." The diviner smiled at a woman sat across from him in a chair. "You are protected by the star Polaris. You must like to be in and around crowds, so this attention is quite the pleasure to you, am I correct?"
"Yes! Yes you are!" The woman cheered.
"You look young, only barely reaching adulthood. Have you left home and do you miss your family? A little brother in particular?" He asks.
The woman remained silent this time. After a moment, she slowly nodded. "That's exactly right."
"My advise to you is to go visit your family while they're taken away to live among the stars. You won't regret it, I assure you." Blavat smiled sweetly at the woman.
"Yes...yes, in fact, I'll go right now! Please excuse me for doing so but...I miss my family so dreadfully. Thank you." The woman explained and got up, rushing to the exit and leaving, presumably to see her family.
You look at your friend, eyes widened. "Do you believe he's not false yet?" She asks. Blavat began to search for another person.
"I'm not sure, not just yet." You reply.
By a quick examination of the fortune teller through the crowd, you could see he had messy lavender hair and nearly flawless features. "His hair looks so fluffy." You sighed, for some reason yearning to touch his fluffy looking hair.
"So I was right, what I said yesterday." (F/N) grinned slyly.
"Yes. Yes you were. I can say that affirmatively. He is remarkably attractive." A couple people near the two of you who overheard gave sly passing glances.
You were almost in a hypnotic state, why, you weren't sure. You were mostly daydreaming about what his hair would feel like. Your trance was broken, however. While you stared at the diviner, his gaze landed on you. You quickly looked away, emmbarrased and ashamed for staring.
"Young lady, would you like your fortune to be told?" Blavat asked. You looked at him to make sure he was talking to you. He was. You sighed.
"Of course." You reply and smile sweetly.
