You sit in bed. It's a Friday afternoon. You wear a loose nightgown in preparation for sleep. In the meantime, you read a book out of boredom. A few pages later, you become bored again. You sigh and close the book, not bothering about marking the page.
Last Saturday, it was still on your mind. The Sphere Music Hall, Sirius, Blavat Sky...
According to your friend, the singing at the end of the gathering was grand, but not as much as usual. You told her you would go back to The Sphere Music Hall tommorow.
You got up from bed. You walked over to your window and looked upon the night sky. But most prominently, you gazed at the little white holes in the pitch black of the night sky. Stars. You admired all the little dots adorning the blackness of night.
'Is it true...that a star as special as Sirius would protect someone such as myself?' You ponder to yourself.
Despite being a young woman, you still lived with your baron father. He would not let you leave until somebody accepted your hand in marriage. At least he was kind enough to not arrange a marriage for you. That you are immensely thankful for.
As you gaze at the stars, an idea comes to mind. 'I'll take a small wander outside. I'll just have to sneak out the front door.' You audibly chuckled under your breath. 'Maybe my 'one true love' will be outside!'
You found a jacket and slung it on. You found a pair of comfortable shoes and done the same with them. You exit your room (which is on the top / second floor) and tip-toe your way down to the front door. You slowly turn the handle, open the door just a crack, and slide through.
It was chilly outside. Not freezing, just enough to make you shiver. Your house is mainly surrounded by woodlands, so you decide to find a tree on the edge of the woods to lean on. You sit and face the open property, looking up at the sky. You sigh.
"It's strange how simple burning gases in the sky are so marvelously beautiful." You mumble aloud to yourself. You silently look at the darkness of the night around you for a few minutes...however, the serene moments seemed to last hours.
Your tranquility was broken suddenly when you here a noise behind you. You stand quickly and whip around to the source of the noise. Without thinking, you shout. "Who's there?" You wait for a response, like you're going to get one. "Don't tell me I'm speaking to a wild animal, now." You say quieter.
From behind a tree, a silloute emerges. You know that silloute. "No, I'm afraid you are speaking with me. And as far as I can tell, I'm no wild animal, ni ha ha!" The voice giggled.
"Fortune teller?!" You shout. 'Is this diviner really such a creep?' He emerged from the shadowy woodland and was illuminated by moonlight. "What are you doing on my-"
"You certainly haven't forgotten my name, have you?" He chuckled. "And this isn't your property it's owned by your baron father."
"I would ask how you know that, but that is a rather silly question, Mister Blavat Sky." You reply.
"Oh so you do remember my name! How lovely!" He sounded as if he was teasing.
"You do know it's rude to tease now, don't you Mister Blavat?" You smirk.
"It is. If you're strangers, anyway."
"We are strangers. We've only met once before."
"True...but we won't be strangers in the future." He takes a few steps closer to you.
"That's the future. Not now." You put a hand on your hip.
"Will you be at the Sphere Music Hall tommorow evening?" Blavat asked, ignoring your statement.
"I was planning on it. I won't lie, it was quite fun last time." You smile in reminiscence.
"I enjoyed your presence there." Blavat admits. You can feel your face get warmer.
"Thank y-you." You murmur.
"You're the easily flustered type, my dear star."
"Y-you're teasing again."
"Ni ha ha! I guess I am. Forgive me!" Blavat giggled.
"It's best we both part ways about now. If my father notices I'm missing and sends for someone to search for me and they came upon us talking, it wouldn't end well for you." You explain.
"One question." Blavat stated, seemingly ignoring what you'd said. "Why did you not chase me off upon finding me on your property."
"Why are you on my property?" You snap back at him. He remained silent. You sighed. "Not gonna tell me just yet, eh?" Blavat shook his head no. "Well I didn't chase you off because it didn't seem like you were up to anything bad in particular. I'm pretty laidback, so as long as you're here for innocent reasons or some such, I'm fine with it. Just know, I'm quite familiar with firearms."
"I see. I'll must know my limits then, ni ha ha!" Blavat pondered something for a moment. "So you'll allow me on your property as long as I'm not doing anything suspicious. You trust few people. Why allow me, a stranger to you, on your property?"
"I don't know...I assume...I-I just have this feeling that I can trust you, Mister Blavat-"
"Just call me Blavat, little star." Blavat grinned.
"Why do you call me that, Blavat? And why did you only call me those endearing names?" You ask, genuinely curious.
He smiled. "Well, I call many people little star-" He replies.
"Yes, but you don't call them 'my dear star' or just 'dear' or 'lovely'." You counter.
"True. You seem like you need affection, little star."
Your face goes red. "Well, we should both probably get back on our own. We kind of stalled the last time I said so, so let's not do so again. I'll be seeing you tommorow, anyway." You suggest again.
"I agree. Surely don't want to run into your father at the moment, ni ha ha!" He chuckled and you joined him.
"That's true." You yawn. "Well I'm beginning to get dreary. I'll be sure to see you tommorow evening. Goodbye for now, Blavat!" You say as you turn back in the direction of your house and wave.
"May the radiance of Sirius fill your dreams, little star. Goodnight." You could here Blavat say as he walked away to wherever he may be going.
As you get to your front door, you did the same thing as to when you exited the manor. You quietly climbed back up the steps and entered your room. You flopped back onto your bed, too tired to wrap your head around anything, you decide to drift into a peaceful sleep.
You awoke to sunshine beaming through your window. It took you a moment, but you eventually remembered what happened last night. Slightly confused, you get dressed for the day and go to the living quarters to meet up with your father. You walk down the steps to the first floor. When you reach the living area, you see your father resting on his favorite arm chair.
"Good morning, (Y/N)!" Your father smiled widely.
"Good morning, father." You reply. "I'll be going to the Sphere Music Hall again today, like last week. I'll be going with (F/N), also like last time."
"I expected that." He chuckled. "Anyone can go?"
"Yes. Rich or poor." You reply.
"I'm curious as to what it's like..."
"The best way I know of how to explain it is that...it's radiant, very much so."
Your father hesitated a moment. "D-do you mind if I come with you?"
