Alexis' P.O.V
I slowly strutted through the wide open doors into the long, locker-lined hallway of my new school, Montdale high.
It's pretty ancient, but not bad per say.
My curious eyes scavenged the large room until they halted at the sight of a smirking stranger
This is either my tour guide or a rapist.
I'll take my chances.
As he stepped closer, and closer his figure became clearer and clearer.
"Welcome to montdale high. I'm your tour guide Derek" he greeted a smirk still plastered to his face.
"Alexis".I responded. "Mind telling me why you're smirking?" I asked in a bored tone.
"Trust me babe, if you were seeing what I'm seeing you would be smirking too". Was his attempt at a flirty response.
"Don't call me babe" I hissed.
Who the hell does he think he is?
"Whatever you say babe" he winked, his signature smirk not failing to tease me.
I simply rolled my eyes.
Cocky isn't he?
"So are you going to give me a tour or am I going to have to navigate my way through this building. Hopefully I won't end up as a damsel in distress, longing for her prince charming to rescue her". a slight smile clearly evident on my lips, sarcasm lacing the words that I spoke.
"I can be your prince charming" He outstretched his arm, offering his palm for me to accept.
It was my turn to smirk as I replied with " then its a pity that I'm not a fan of things that are cliché"
His smile faded before quickly returning to its original state "I can do kinky".
I stood there, not a word leaving my mouth.
His lips tugged up victoriously as he slowly approached. He traced his fingers up my arm gently before leaning down to my ear and whispering "When you're done blushing we have a tour to begin"
Tease.
Two can play at that game, he better watch his back.
Pulling away as slowly as he came, he placed his hand in mine and began leading me on a quest through the old space.

As quickly as the tour began, it ended and I was once again standing parallel to Derek, the right corner of his lips elevated. He should get an oscar for how many times a day he smirks, must be exhausting the poor princess.
"So what did you think of the tour?" He asked.
"Not bad"
"Want me to walk you home? The streets can be dangerous you know. I'll be your protector" he offered.
A slight smile made its way to my lips as I responded with "why not, oh, besides the fact that you're still a stranger, and my dad taught me to never walk or talk with strangers" I altered my voice to that of an infant and putruded my lower lip into a pout.
"Well maybe if you took the time to get to know me" he offered suggestively.
"Nah your emotions would be the death of me" I stated and he chuckled.
In all honesty he's cute, and confident but not my type.
Though I gotta admit, that face and the body that comes along with it are pretty damn impressive.
His light green, almost emerald eyes perfectly compliment his chestnut brown hair, and his perfectly structured jawbone somehow brought out his plump dark pink lips. Lower down was his perfectly toned, tanned body that was fitted tightly into his ashy gray shirt, black jeans and white shoes.
"Well then lead the way babe" he teased opening the doors in front of us from which we once entered.

Derek's P.O.VJust a few minutes had floated by but the concentrated silence was a fire that was burning me alive.
If she won't talk volunteeringly then I'll have to be the one to break the ice and begin a conversation.
"So.. mind telling me your age" I asked nicely even though I already knew the answer.
A simple "17" was all she responded with.
"I'm 17 too" I told her in a childish tone and her reaction was a slight chuckle.
"So why did you pick Montdale?" I asked her trying not to let the conversation go only one way.
"Fresh start"
Mysterious isn't she?
"How has it been fitting in?" Was my follow up.
"There's one thing you should know about me, I don't fit when I have the opportunity to stand out" she declared proudly, a smile forming on her lips.
Cute. I like it.
"Impressive" I replied, and received a simple nod in return.
As she suddenly went silent I graciously accepted the opportunity to observe her features, ignoring the cacophony coming from the numerous cars that were stuck in the traffic jam that stretched for thousands of miles, the contaminating substances that they concealed, released into the environment. Assuring us a slow but definate death.
Her long curly dark brown hair drapped past her shoulders, onto her back. Hazel coloured eyes skillfully scanning her surroundings. She was a little above average height, but still a few inches shorter than myself. Her floral clothing barely giving away the shape of her body.
"So what was your old life like then?" I asked smiling sheepishly, not sure if she would willingly answer the question. To my suprise her expression mimicked mine, exposing the deep dimples embedded in her cheeks. " It was...interesting"
"Interesting?" I asked, pushing her to elaborate.
"It was like any other life" she refused to give any further details.
"Whatever you say babe" I said jokingly causing her to react by rolling her eyes and smiling slightly.
We walked and talked about a variety of topics for a few more minutes until we reached her front door. She has a pretty good house for someone who just moved here.
"See you at school tomorrow babe" A smirk tied to my lips.
"Don't call me babe shithead". Was the last thing she said before her figure disappered.
Shithead as a nickname?
Cute.
