Finally lunch arrived and I was once again navigating my way through the hallways until a rusted sign marked cafeteria came into view.

So this is where the havoc hides.

Just as I expected, their pounding screams and yells beat down repeatedly on my eardrums, acrid smells mercilessly destroying my nostrils, and I wish that I could bleach my brain to expel the nasty behavior of those who believed that the darkness of the corners successfully hid their lustful sins.

I waltzed towards the surprisingly short line, waiting patiently for my meal. When my turn finally arrived I simply ordered a burger and fries, before stepping aside.

I stood in the middle of the large room, scanning the area for an empty table to sit at, but once again Derek's arms wrapped firmly around my waist, attaching my body to his, nearly throwing down my food.

"Did you miss me?" He hummed in my ear.

"You nearly threw down all my food you idiot" I scolded him, still aggravated.

"Sorry" he surrendered, throwing his hands up in the air in submission.

I glared at him for a while before sighing loudly, forcing myself to forgive him, I'm too hungry to fight.

"Let's go" he demanded, leading me to a table where only the two of us sat.

"So, you didn't answer my question" he reminded me, a smirk dancing on his lips.

"What question?" I asked, shoving a few crispy french fries in my mouth, smiling happily at the taste, honestly not caring about what he had to say at the moment.

"I asked you if you missed me" he leaned in closer from the place he sat, on the opposite end of the table.

"Not really" I said bluntly, going back to my food, causing him to release a loud gasp, and place his hand on his chest.

Drama queen.

Moments later two males who appeared to be twins sat at my left and right side.

Am I in heaven?

"Babe, meet Luke and Luca" Derek introduced me.

"Hey I'm Luke" the one at my right told me, with a warm smile that caressed his lips.

"Alexis. But called me Alex" I smiled.

I then turned to my left waiting for the person that I assumed is Luca, to speak.

"Babe?" He questioned, face contorting into one of pure amusement.

"Here's a life lesson, don't listen to idiots" I responded sharply, before taking the time to admire the masterpieces that sat besides me.

Their light brown skin was at a loss to any error, and completely uncomplimentary to their already honey glazed orbs, which were a magnet to the illuminating hue of the glowing sunlight. The crown of hair on their heads were dark and curly, tossed, and ruffled to perfection. The only way you could tell the two apart was that Luca had a heart shaped birth mark on his left bicep, and is it just me or does everyone exercise to the point where their muscles are illegal?

"Are you done yet?" Luke questioned cockily,

"Done what?" My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.

"Finding what you were looking for on my body?" He replied and I rolled my eyes, blushing slightly.

"It's not my fault that you guys are sexy" I muttered under my breath and they chuckled.

"What's up?" Dillon greeted us, sitting down next to Derek, pulling a bar of chocolate out of his pocket.

Dillon? What's he doing here? I thought he was at college?

This must be a normal thing, because no one else is reacting.

"So what's today's conversation about?" He asked, eating as if he didn't ditch school to eat lunch with his younger brother and his friends.

"Sorry, but I have to ask, what the hell are you doing here?" I puzzled.

"Eating lunch" he said in a duh tone.

"So you just up and left school, just to have lunch with us?" I inquired concerned.

"Yup" he assured me. Oh well, clearly non of my business.

"So when did you guys become friends with shithead" I quieried referring to Luke and Luca, trying to break the awkward silence that was about to blanket the group.

"We're practically brothers" Luca said "Yup, we grew up together, and sleep over at each other's houses all the time" Luke confirmed.

"You're coming over today right?" Luke doubled checked, and I nodded my head before slipping another fry into my mouth.

"Then this is going to be way more fun" Luca commented.

"What's going to be way more fun?" I quizzed, almost dropping my fry.

What the hell are they going to do to me?

"You'll see" he responded smiling.

Derek has been quiet lately.

Good.

I smiled to myself picking up another fry, about to place it in my mouth before it was confiscated by the hands of another.

I looked up to see Derek's stupid face.

"Give it back" I growled, ready to prance on him at any time, eyes shooting daggers coated in a poison called annoyance.

"Come get it" he smirked trapping the poor fry between his lips. If he expects me to take that, he has another thing coming.

I couldn't help listening to the soft whispers coming from the crowd of students who seems to be so desperate for a show.

what about Kira? She's not going to be happy about this. Ugh the new girl. Someone as hot as him can do better. Apparently Derek and his friends are popular.

And who the hell is Kira?

Well if they want a show, they'll get one.

I slowly got up crawling seductively across the table towards where Derek sat, his eyes widening in shock. My eyes never left his as my movements came to a halt, using one hand, I smirked as I lifted his chin with one finger, locking it in position, before bringing my lips down to the same level as his, and biting down on the fry, before slowly pulling away, and returning to my original position, ignoring the low wolf whistles and other noises that sounded throughout the cafeteria.

Take that hoe.

Derek just sat there, completely unresponsive.

"Bro" Luke snapped his fingers in front of his face, but still no response.

"Have I rendered you speechless Derek" I smiled innocently.

I will never be able to look at french fries the same way again, but I'd be a liar if I said that I was numb to the situation, it was some weird electricity that was coursing through my body.

Stop it Alex, you sound like every desperate girl who falls for his perverted 'bad boy' antics.

"Think you broke him Alex" Luca whispered into my ear, his grin taking up 50% of his face.

Lunch continued with casual conversation, Luke and Luca stuffing their faces, Derek staring at the wall, intimidating it into admitting it's deepest secrets, and the occasional joke, until the bell sang it's poisonous tune indicating the end of lunch, and the start the next period.

French.

Life is truly amazing.

Note the sarcasm.
