The group of nine walked over to the hallway mirror.
"42-42-564, whenever you want to knock on death's door"
"Whats up, whats up Maka........and everyone else" said Death in his fake, funny voice. "So did my son tell you about the misson?"
"No father" cut in Kid "I thought it would be better if you told them"
"I suppose you're right. There is two people in Death City on the verge of becoming a Kishin and we need you guys to take care of it"
"That was the big news?? I could beat them off all by myself!" Yelled Black Star with Jack ass written all over him.
"Yes Black Star, but they are with a witch, called Emily, and she can be quite dangerous!"
"And you sent a bunch of kids to do the job?" Commented Stein as he walked toward them.
"Well......yes.....why? Do you think they can't?"
"Of course we can, they have me on their team" shouted Black Star.
"Alright, oh and the squad leaders will get the souls, um I'll let Stein take care of that, death-out" A sweat drop formed on Stein's head, but then turned into annoyance, a split second later.
"Okay so Maka and Kid will be squad leaders"
"Yes" shouted Kid with his cheeks turning pink "everything will be symmetrical!!!!!"
TIME SKIP TO BROAD RANGE AVENUE
Maka road along with Soul on his motorcycle as usual, but yet something was still on her mind...Soul. She wrapped her arms tighter around his waist unconsciously. For some reason she wanted to be closer to him. Soul tensed up, and flashed his eyes over behind him.
"What's wrong?" Maka wanted to slap him at that moment. He knew why she was upset, he just wanted her to admit it!
"Soul you know perfectly well, why I am scared"
"Your scared?" Maka face palmed herself, she almost forgot who she was talking to. The all sarcastic and cool, Soul!
"Nevermind"
"No, no please proceed, minster!"
MAKA CHOP
"Maka I'm driving!" pouted Soul as he rubbed in his head in annoyance.
"Soul, stop flirting with Maka and get over here!" Yelled Black Star as Soul came to a stop with his motorcycle. He had a slight blush on his face, but it quickly turned back to normal as drool to leak out his mouth.
"I can already taste them!" Maka jumped off the motorcycle and walked over to Crona, Tsubaki, Patty, and Liz.
"I saw you blush back there" said Liz while elbowing Maka in the side. Maka slapped her elbow away and frowned.
"No I wasn't! " Liz signed and said,
"Crona what do you think? Do you think Maka has a crush on Soul?"
"Um I don't know how to deal with crush questions but,....mfhmfhmfh" Maka cover his mouth and frowned.
"He's right, he doesn't know how to handle that" mumbled Maka with steam rising from her head. (>#_#< )Maka's face right now!
They walked over to bridge and wanted for the two human consuming people to cross it.
"Are you sure that this is were your father said they were suppose to come? Because it's taking forever!" whined Black Star!
"It's only been 5 minutes and aren't you suppose to be an assassin, who usually as wait longer than this for his enemy?"
"He's suppose to be" mumbled Tsubaki under her breath, earning a laugh from Patty. Then everything fell slient. No wind, no leaves rustling, no person breathing, just slience. Then A sharp gasp, that was produced by Maka, shook everyone from thier thoughts.
"It's- a -a witch, and her soul is as big as Medusa's!"
"I know" said Kid agreeing looking in the same spot as Maka was. Slowly a woman walked out with red dark hair and blue piercing eyes. A wave of green magic swarmed her hands and feet.
"Let the fun begin" the witch hackled out beneath her breathe.
