Varlo's Pov
After flying for some time, I found another settlement that T7 had picked up on the scans of the planet. "And you're certain we're no longer in our home galaxy?" I said one more time to T7, who confirmed with an annoyed beep. "I was always under the impression that leaving our galaxy was impossible. I guess we're stuck here then.". T7 responded with a solemn beep. "That city below that we just arrived at. I'm going to go check things out down there. You stay with the ship this time and work on some repairs." I said, searching for a landing pad of any kind. "Where's a blasted star port when you need one?"
I finally gave up on trying to find a proper landing zone and settled for a large, flat topped building and just hoped it could hold the weight. After I disembarked I took a moment to reach out with the Force to see if I could find anything. "This planet is absolutely brimming with power, yet I don't sense any others with my abilities. Perhaps that will change when I meet more of the people of this world." I thought to myself.
Jumping from the top of the building, I landed in alleyway without a sound, and left just in time to see a group of rather shady men walk by, a man in a white suit and a bowl shaped hat leading them. "I know scoundrels when I see them.".
Quietly trailing behind them, making sure to keep my distance so they didn't catch on, I noticed they were approaching a small shop called "From Dust till Dawn".
Waiting until they entered, I quickly sprinted over to follow them in, only for one of the thugs following the one in white come crashing out the window and land right in front of me. Seconds later, a young girl came out after him, deploying a weapon that turned into a large scythe.
"Well? Get her." The man in white said to his thugs. "Oh, I don't think so." I finally said, grabbing one of my sabers and igniting it. "Get him too. And bring me his weapon." "Why don't you come take it from me yourself, coward?" I said in an attempt to provoke him. It didn't work.
Instead, one of his goons shot at me, which I blocked with ease. I then proceeded to pick him up and toss him into a few of his friends before I turned my attention to the larger group rushing at me and the young girl.
"You dare attempt to harm a child? How spineless." I spoke in a tone of disappointment. The girl, quickly turning her attention away from my display of power, proceeded to quickly dispatch the men who tried to attack her. "Impressive, young one." I complimented as I fended off another thug.
"You were worth every cent, truly you were. Well, Red and Gold. I would say it's been an eventful evening. But unfortunately, this is where we part ways." He said, aiming at the girl with his cane, and a ball of bright crackling energy shot out of the end.
With a lighting fast reaction, I deflected it into the air where it eventually detonated. "Surrender. I promise no harm will come to you if you do." I pointed my saber at him and stood defensively in front of the child. "Interesting proposal. Here's my counteroffer." He sneered, aiming right at the ground I was standing on and shooting.
Instead of trying to block it, I decided to grab the girl and get out of the way, barely escaping the blast after I did. "I didn't hurt you, did I?" She shook her head somewhat shyly. "Good. Now let's get this- where'd he go?" I said, turning to where he was only to see he had vanished.
"Over there!" The girl pointed at him climbing up the side of a building. "Good catch, youngling." I praised as I began sprinting over.
Using the force to propel myself, I reached the top right as the man neared the other side of the roof. "You've got nowhere to go. Give up." "Persistent." I heard him hiss under his breath.
I then heard the sound of an engine, and an aircraft came roaring up from the side of the building, the man quickly climbing aboard right as the girl joined me. "End of the line, you two!" He called out, tossing a red crystal at us and firing at it.
Before the explosion could do anything, I managed to contain the blast with the force, and after a few moments it dissipated. "Whoa. So cool." I heard the girl next to me say.
I then felt another presence beside me, and I turned to see a blonde woman standing beside me. "We have you outnumbered. Surrender." I demanded again.
In response, the aircraft started trying to fly away, but I held it in place, though also putting some strain on myself. "Hit it with everything you have!" I yelled, and the two began attacking the craft, the young girl firing her rifle scythe and the woman forming debris into a large projectile she then flung at the aircraft.
I saw the man disappear into the cockpit, and a woman whose face I couldn't see took his place and began blocking the young girl's sniper fire, and then releasing a wave of fiery energy and destroying the debris that had been swarming around the aircraft. Finally, she held her hand out and the ground below us began to glow.
"Get off the roof!" I shouted frantically, letting go of the airship as I felt energy building up beneath us. Realizing the two beside me wouldn't react fast enough, I used my power to push them off the roof, and I quickly joined them, narrowly avoiding being blown up a second time.
Once on the ground, I saw the aircraft fly away, too quick for me to regain my hold. "You guys are Hunter's? Can I get your autographs?" The girl asked with stars in her eyes.
