this chapter is about being queer.
as a queer child i felt extremely distanced from friends and family; different although i may not have known it yet. these poems explore the gap that has been created between me, a queer person, and non-queer people.
usually i would put a trigger warning for each of these, but i'm going to give a general trigger warnings for homophobia and transphobia for the entire chapter! please be careful <3
