Tuesday was one of the most relaxing days Maddy had had in a long time.
She sat all bundled up in her black couch and watched a marathon of Once Upon a Time and ate a lot of junk food. She wasn't going to think about anything that was bothering her in her life at that moment. She just wanted to sit back and not have a care in the world, because in less than a month, she would have to focus on Wicked.
Almost all day she was like this. She only got up to get something to eat or drink and go to bathroom.
It was almost four when someone knocked on the front day. Maddy got up and groaned. She walked to the door and heaved it open. Her friend, Jessalyn, was standing right there, smiling at her.
"What are you doing here, Jess?" Maddy asked.
"Well, I went to coffee shop to see you, but you weren't there. Calypso said you had hurt your foot last night. So I came here instead to make sure you were okay," Maddy's friend said.
"Oh. Well, thanks. I'm doing fine now."
Maddy wasn't ready to tell anybody about what had happened Friday night. It was just too painful to say out loud to someone. For now, she would have to lie, which wasn't the best thing in the world, but it was her last resort.
"Do you want to come in?" Maddy asked.
"Yeah, sure."
She let Jess in the door then closed it and went to go sit on the couch.
"I've been watching some OUAT. I'm already on the second season," Maddy said.
"So you've done nothing today, then."
"Nope, not really."
"Well, we're going to change that."
"What do you mean?" Maddy asked curiously.
"We are going to have girls night! We're going to go shopping, and to Starbucks, and eat at our most favorite place in the world."
"But I have one and a half mor seasons of Once Upon a Time to watch, though," Maddy complained.
"Suck it up buttercup."
Maddy sighed and said "So basically we're going to be full white girls today?"
"We are white girls, silly!"
"You know what I mean."
"Oh, I know."
"But is Starbucks really necassary?"
"Of couse. Starbucks is a white girls recipe for a fantastic day."
"Alrighty, then."
"Get your butt up, then, and get dressed!"
"Okay, okay."
Maddy got off the couch and sprinted to her room. She took a quick shower then went to her closet and picked out a pair of black jeans, a blue longsleeved shirt, and black boots. She got dressed quikly and brushed her teeth and hair then applied some make-up on her face. She ran out of the bathroom then grabbed a leather jacket hanging from the back of her chair then went back into the livingroom.
"Wow, that was probably quickest time I've ever seen you get dressed. And you're still cute."
"Thanks, Jess."
"Let's go, then."
"'Kay."
They walked of the penthouse then made their way into the lobby.
