"My son. What do I owe this visit?" Frigga embraced her son lovingly as he hugged back stiffly. "I was on my way until I met our new guest. Now I'm curious." Loki said while making himself comfortable in a nearby chair. Frigga frowned slightly. "Loki, she's just a child." She said while sitting in the chair adjacent from her son. "Why does everyone think I'm after the child?" Loki sighed with anger lacing his tone. "You may think I'm old and don't know much about you my son, but I'm not naive my boy. I know you better than both your father and brother, and I know she's a beautiful young lady." Frigga gestured her hand around in the air, having her magic prepare her some tea. Loki kept his mouth shut even if he did disagree to an extent.

"If so, what is so wrong about me knowing anything about her. She is a guest in my home, and everyone is going to brush me aside and treat me like predator?" Loki scoffed as his mother shook her head. "What is it you would like to know Loki?" She asked as Loki sat in hard thought for a second. "General information, I'm sure you knew before I walked into the room." He looked at his mother, he knew her as well. "If that's what you wish, but I'm not sure you'll enjoy everything you hear, and I don't believe she'll take to you so kindly when she finds out who you are." Frigga warned.

"Her name is Iris Purity, as you know I'm guessing. She's only seventeen and she is here because Jane was her guardian on Midgard, so your father thought she should be here as well. She's an orphaned child, both parents dying in New York when you decided to try to take over." Frigga explained and Loki took a mental note, a pinch in his gut when she mentioned he was the cause of the death of her parents. "Both you and I know that I was under Malekith's control. I wasn't in control of my own actions!" Loki protested, trying to shake the feeling of regret.

"I'm aware darling, but her and Jane are not. From what they know, you killed people they loved and tried to destroy their home." Frigga now sipped at her tea. Loki ran a hand through his hair, the emotion withering away as he shook it off and tried to remain without emotion. "Thank you mother." He smiled as he walked out. "Loki do be careful. Jane will rashly act without remorse if she finds you with her." Frigga called as her son just kept walking. She sighed and sipped at her tea more, watching the birds on her balcony. She loved her son, but sometimes he was foolish and blinded by his own pride and ego.

Iris sat, the dining room was exquisite, the careful carvings in the ceiling among the almost diamond colored floor, it was something from a movie, or a dream. "Enjoying my home I see?" The All-Father spoke as she nodded carefully. "Very much sir. Thank you for allowing me to stay here." Iris smiled at the old man, his face scrunching up as he smiled back and took a sip of ale. Thor and Jane smiled to one another, so far, not so bad. Loki burst into the room, Frigga following in not to long after and apologized for being late as she pecked her husband on the cheek and sat beside him.

Servants twirled around the large table, setting down all kinds of food. This was definitely more food than Iris was accustomed to seeing, or eating. She looked along the table, picking a few already peeled fruits up and placing them on her plate. "Not hungry Ivy?" Jane called; Iris internally cringed in embarrassment at the old nickname given to her. "You of all people should know that I'm a light eater Jules." she quipped back with her own nickname as she blushed. Thor looked between the two of them, "Jules?" He repeated as they both giggled, Frigga smiling from the other side of the table as she watched them enjoy themselves. "It's an old nickname." She smiled grabbing her husbands hand under the table and rubbing across it with her thumb.

Thor nodded and looked back down at his plate, tearing apart what looked like a rib from a cow. Jane was never satisfied with how sloppily her husband ate, but she still loved him. Iris looked back down at her plate and frowned slightly, picking a piece of strawberry she dissected with her fork and nibbling at it. Frigga immediately took to her discomfort. "Everything alright my child?" She asked, her voice caring like a mother. "I'll adjust, I'll just miss the people I've become friends with back on earth." Iris said. "Midgard!" She quickly changed sighing at her fault.

"It's alright, I understand." Frigga chuckled. "I think I could introduce you to some women around the palace tomorrow morning that I think you would enjoy the company of." Frigga called warmly across the table making Iris beam with joy. "I would much appreciate that, thank you." Iris said almost not being able to hide the new growing smile on her face as she took a sip of water. Dinner went by smoothly with no problems from the younger prince no less. Odin and Iris discussing the land of Asgard and the rules, even though after briefly meeting the girl he didn't think would be an issue.

Everyone began to slowly head for their chambers for bed, Iris almost stumbling to her room from exhaustion. Jane helped her to her room and in bed, kissing her forehead as she lye down. "You know you don't have to help me..." Iris said with half lidded eyes. Jane chuckled and blew out a few candles lit by the maids, "I remember my first time coming through the bifrost to Ivy, this is just how the human body will respond. Now, to sleep. I love you." She called. "I... *yawn* love you too." Iris said before Jane shut the door and walked out.

She took a longer stroll back to her and Thor's room to clear her head. Loki just creeped her out, and the fact that one of the other things she loved so much was in potential danger by that brat made her on edge. Iris was a forgiving girl, always has been, and she posses so much internal beauty it stunned Jane still today. Being as unfortunate as she has been, she has made life her own. Jane shook her head and tried not to worry, but not until passing by the youngest's chambers, the wailing and sobbing of a woman echoed out of the door and into the hall.

That is exactly what she didn't want to happen to her niece. To be Loki's whore, or courtesan. She held her head and darted to Thor and hers room, shutting the door quickly behind her alerting Thor. "Jane?" He asked, his voice always seemed to calm her down. "Yes husband?" She called back peeling back her dress and began to get ready for bed. "What worries you?" He asked as she froze midway through putting the last strap of her nightgown on. "I have a feeling you know." Her tone bitter. Thor shook his head and sat up on the bed, the sheet dipping down and exposing his body, his chest heaving.

"I know it's Loki, but what worries you so badly that you are talking to me in this tone?" He asked as Jane walked to the bed and laid down, rubbing her thumb across her husband's cheek. "I'm sorry darling, I'm just worried about Iris is all. She's a smart girl, but she falls easily and breaks easily if you get what I mean." Jane gestured her hands as she talked, a sight Thor always thought was amusing because she looked adorable doing it. He sighed and turned over, hugging his wife while they both lay in bed. "I understand completely, and I would fear that too when the girl turns of age." Thor said kissing her on the forehead like she did to her niece not too long ago.

"But let's sleep, maybe we'll see Loki keep his distance." Thor cooed as he blew out the candle on his bedside table. He turned back over, wrapping his arms around his wife and closed his eyes letting sleep claim him. Jane stiffened and struggled to sleep, to caught up in her own thoughts. She sighed and closed her eyes forcing her body to sleep, but she knew it wouldn't come easy tonight.
