Heaven And Earth

Taylor's POV

"Cam call an ambulance!" I screamed as I rested Libby on my lap. Our car had crashed and Libby took all of the impact. My stomach and neck hurt a little but that was only minor. The priority was to get Libby up!

"Hello ambulance." Cam said into the phone. "We have just been in a car crash and my sister won't wake up. Her seat belt ripped out of the socket and she flew into the windscreen." He explained as I looked at the shattered windscreen.

"Come on Libs wake up!" I whispered in her ear. She didn't move. She laid limp on my lap.

"Okay hurry!" He said to the phone before putting it back in his pocket.

"Can you manage to open the door?" I asked him pointing to the crushed door. He slide over to it dodging all the broken glass.

"No it won't budge!" He stated as he pushed the door with all his might. I heard faint sirens from outside and saw some blue lights getting closer.

"Hello is anyone in there?!" Someone asked loudly.

"Yeah in the back!" I yelled back. I could hear them trying to open the door and I could see them through the window.

"The fire brigade are already on there way. They will have to cut the doors out because they won't open! Is there anyone else in there?" A female paramedic asked.

"Yeah my friend Cam who is fine and my girlfriend Libby who took the hit and won't wake up." I explained.

"Does she have a pulse?" I took her wrist and put two fingers on it. After a few seconds I could feel a slow pumping.

"Yes but it's very slow! Get her out!" I yelled.

"The fire brigade are here now sit back!" A man yelled. 4 fire fighters came and cut the door open. The paramedics rushed to us. Cam and I helped get Libby out of the car. A stretcher was already laid out so we carried her body to it.

"Are you two alright?" A woman asked us.

"Yeah we weren't really affected at all! I just want my sister to be better!" Cam answered.

"We will do the best we can! We need to take her to the hospital. Only one of you can come in the ambulance. The other will be escorted there by an ambulance car. Who is going with Libby?" She asked.

"Cam you go! She is your sister. I will call the guys and tell them what is going on. Do you want me to call your mum?!" I said to a shakey Cam.

"Okay yeah call mum and tell her everything! She doesn't know you are dating her though so don't let it slip!" He said before rushing off to the ambulance. A man led me to the back of an ambulance car which I sat in whilst pulling my phone out.

First I called Mrs Dallas.

T- Hi Mrs Dallas.

MD - Oh hello Taylor! What's up?

T - We have been in a car accident. Cam and I are fine but Libby took the force and smacked into the windscreen. She isn't awake but she does have a pulse. We are on the way to the hospital now.

MD - My baby girl! This is why I didn't want her going to Magcon! I only agreed because she was actually going to be in it! Didn't she have a seat belt on?!

T - She did! The buckle was ripped out of the seat when we were hit.

MD - I will get on the next plane over! I will be there soon!

T - Okay bye Mrs Dallas!

After phoning her mum, I called Jack G as Libby is close with him.

J - Hey dude where are you?! We are all back in the hotel!

T - We got in a car accident and on the way to the hospital. Libby is in bad condition but Cam and I are fine.

J - We are on our way! Guys come on we need to go I will explain in the limo!

He said the last part to the others.

T - We are nearly at the hospital so text me when you arrive.

I hung up just as we arrived. I hopped out of the car and ran to the entrance. I ran to the front desk and caught the receptionists attention.

"Hi what room is Libby Dallas in?" I asked.

"Who are you?" She raised and eyebrow.

"Taylor Caniff her boyfriend!" I said clearly annoyed.

"Lavender Ward, room 17." She sighed. I followed the signs up to her ward then to her room. I knocked on the door and seconds later Cam opened it. He smiled lightly at me as I walked in. Libby was laying in an uncomfortable looking bed. She wasn't wearing her clothes but a hospital gown which looked like it had no back. I sat in one of the seats next to her bed and took her hand.

"Come on Libby. Please wake up baby!" I choked.

"Mr Dallas." A doctor said coming through the door.

"Yes!" Cam stood up.

"I'm afraid your sister was hit quite hard. There is not a great chance of survival. We are doing the best we can but surgery won't be enough. Her brain was damaged when she hit the front of the car which is causing a coma. If she does wake up then she will have a lot of memory loss. We can give 4 days maximum until we need to pull the plug. This may be hard to hear but you need to say goodbye to your sister. There may be a chance that the medication works and she survives but I find that quite hard to believe it will happen. I'm sorry Mr Dallas." He explained. Both of us were in floods of tears.

"No! This can't happen. I love her! She is my girlfriend and I need her! You are supposed to fix her not give up on her!" I yelled. Cameron pulled my arm to calm me down but he was just as angry and upset.

"It's all Amys fault! If she didn't go round snogging other boys faces off then we would still be in the restaurant having a lovely meal not in hospital with my baby on a life support machine!" I added looking at her. The doctor left and I heard him mutter something outside. Matt, Shawn, Jack G, Nash and Hayes ran in.

"What happened!" Nash panted. I broke down onto tears again. Shawn comforted me and Nash did the same to Cam who was in the same state as me.

"She might die." I stuttered.

"What?!" Hayes gasped.

"She hit her head hard and it has damaged her brain which has put her in a coma. If she wakes up then she won't remember much. She has 4 days to wake up and if not then they are going to pull the plug on the life support machine." Cam added.

"This is crazy!" Hayes mumbled.

Libby's POV

I could hear voices but I couldn't open my eyes. I could hear a lot of crying but my body wouldn't move. Cam was close to me. I could smell a strong amount of cologne to tell there was more than just them him in here. Someone was holding my hand but I couldn't hold back.

Suddenly a bright light came on.

"Libby?!" I heard. I turned around and saw my friend Sam.

"Sam where am I? You died 3 years ago!"I asked him.

"The half way point." He replied.

"Half way between what?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Heaven and Earth." He smiled.
