Episode 1: A New Life

Narrator:A boy named Takeo Koshiro, short brown hair and blue eyes, lives a normal life, his parents died when he was 10, and now, he is turning 17, and his only family left, his younger sister named Aoki, is celebrating his birthday with him.

Aoki:"Good morning, Takeo!"

Takeo:*Yawns* "Good morning."

*Takeo wakes up to his sister serving him breakfast in bed*

Takeo:"What's this?"

Aoki:"It's your birthday breakfast!"

*Aoki smiles cheerfully as Takeo eats his breakfast. Later in the day, they go to the beach to celebrate his birthday, there are a few other people there*

Takeo:"The beach? How'd you know?"

Aoki:"You always wanted to see it, so here we are!"

Takeo:"Thanks a lot, Aoki."

Aoki:"Oooooo, look! There waves are getting so big!"

Takeo(mind):I don't think that's a good thing, but it's probably nothing.

*They have fun at the beach*

Aoki:"Hey, Takeo?"

Takeo:"Yeah?"

Aoki:"Look, there's something in the ocean."

Takeo:"Huh?"

*I see a small figure in the distance*

Aoki:"What is it?"

Takeo:"That looks like...a ship."

Aoki:"A ship? Cool?"

Takeo:"Not just any ship too, it's a battleship."

Aoki:"Oh..."

Takeo(mind):But what's it doing here?

*Takeo looks a little further down to the left of the battleship*

Takeo:*Gasps*

*He sees another battleship, about to fire at it*

Takeo:"Aoki...we should leave."

Aoki:"Huh? Why?"

*The battleship starts firing*

Takeo:"Whoa!"

Aoki:"What the?!"

Takeo:"Aoki! let's go, or we're gonna get hurt."

Takeo(mind):We'd sure as hell don't wanna get caught in the crossfire.

*Takeo sees the barrel of one of the battleship's gun aim towards the beach*

Takeo:*Gasps*

Takeo(mind):Is that battleship trying to get civilians into this?! Why?!?!

Takeo:"Aoki! Run!"

Aoki:"Why are they fighting?"

Takeo:"Just run!"

*Takeo grabs onto Aoki's hand and runs for it, as the battleship fires at the beach, killing the rest of the people at the beach*

Takeo:"Don't look back, Aoki!"

Aoki:*Gasps*

*Aoki freezes and let's go of Takeo's hand*

Takeo:"Aoki!"

Aoki:*Gasps*

*Tears start rolling down Aoki's face, as one of the battleships aims at her*
