I know these are overmade, but I just wanted to put this out there. So, Outertale is a popular AU where everyone's in space. But how about... Aethertale? Eh? In this AU, all monsters can, to some extent, fly. Toriel has soft bird wings, Flowey has little flower wings, Undyne has some cool fin-like wings, etc. After the war, they were banished to a chain of floating islands inthe sky (think Laputa). The barrier is a huge sphere, surrounding all of the islands. The islands themselves are each of the different areas in normal undertale. The Ruins, Waterfall, etc. Most modern stuff like electricity are replaced by magic. Side note, because of the magic bit, Mettaton EX looks even more fabulous, if that were possible. Not all characters fly around willy-nilly, and most of the time they're content on the ground. The puzzles are a little more 3-D, and since Frisk can't fly, she* has to get creative. The only thing I haven't really worked out is how Frisk got up there in the first place. Idea: she made a catapult? Add to the idea in the comments. Please. But I think the rest of the AU is a cool idea.
*I usually think of Frisk as a she. Is Frisk's gender (or lack of one) canon? I have no idea.
